Works so far
Had a terrible deer problem around our little patio. So far (just a few days) this is keeping the critters away....hope it works for the longer term.

GARDEN PROTECTION FROM DEER
I have used this product for years. In my opinion it is better than any other product I have tried. You must be diligent about applying before the deer decide to enjoy your bounty. I apply again after a heavy rain.

Not all the time
When I first spread it, it seems to keep the deer away. But as time goes by, the deer seem to be immune to it.

It works! Minimal scent
We moved to a new area last year and have fought the deer and rabbits ever since. I sprayed other (expensive) products around liberally last year to deter them with no success. We had to re-plant the majority of our front flower beds (several hundred dollars of plants) - rabbits chewed most of the lower half of two new Degroot's Spires I planted (which should eventually grow back), and three 3-yr conifers to the nub (which won't ever grow back). What eats conifer needles?? Most of my hostas never had the chance to fully leaf out; combined with several perennials, I apparently planted a very tasty salad bar. After seeing that investment being returned as scat in my flower beds, I decided to be more aggressive this year. I read on a university's horticulture school's website that a combo of Deer Scram and Deer Stopper was the only solution with which they had found success. So I doubled down and diligently scatter this once a month, and spray Deer Stopper on all of the foliage. The deer don't even stop by, and the rabbits that stop must figure out there are easier targets next door. I have a full bed of hostas back, and I think the perennials will recover! Yay! Lots of impressed neighbors have commented, which makes me happy because they've seen me smelly, sweaty, and butt-up in the front yard re-landscaping everything. I need to redeem myself somehow after that. This has a very small amount of scent - it's not great, but there's not enough scent to be offensive by any stretch, and all scent is gone (to humans) after a few minutes. I don't gag or dry heave or even squish my nose, I just notice it (and I've stuck my nose in that container and inhaled to make sure that was the smell). Great product!

Didn't work at all... Product seemed different, waste of $. Deer not deterred!!!
As you can see from the pic, deer not deterred at all. First, I noticed (before even opening the package) that this package of scram was different than others I had purchased in the past. It was not loose granules, as previous purchases. But more compacted together and a very dark brown color, almost like damp soil. Tried it anyway, thinking they must have changed the formula. Emptied most of the bag of scram in front of a small 4 ft area of fence that the deer jump over. Saw a deer in my backyard a few days later and it jumped back over the same area. Been back repeatedly since!!! Not much of a deterrent. Very expensive for such a small amount of coverage too! Total waste of money. This SCRAM IS A SCAM!

It works.
Iโve tried many. This is the first one that has actually kept the deer out of my hostas.

First repellent I have used that actually seem to have worked!
Easy to apply, my rose bushes and tulips are looking fine, no nibbles overnight and buds in the tulips and shiny new leaves on my new rose bushes. Very pleased!

If it keeps deer away.
I cannot review until I know it keeps the deer away. This will take some time to find out. Delivery, however, was good.

Delivered damaged
I'm afraid that this was delivered in a very bad state, the lid was broken and most of the contents were in the packaging, which leaked and some of the product was spilling out.
