Great Little Weather Station
I don’t typically go to the trouble to write reviews but I had to for this product. This little weather station is fantastic. The screen is beautiful. Easy to read from all angles and bright enough to see from across the room. Setup was a breeze. I was expecting to have to wait hours for the time and outside weather sensor to calibrate, however the time set itself almost immediately and the temperature indicator started to slowly drop to the outside temp as soon as I hung it up. I read reviews and researched the other 2 popular brands in this category and I’m really pleased I chose this one. The screen isn’t cluttered with a bunch of stuff you don’t need unless you’re the TV weather man. Perfect for my bathroom showing the time, indoor/outdoor humidity and temperature. I’ve had several of these over the years made by its two major competitors and have to say this one outshines both of them for visibility. If I have to gripe about something, I wish the outdoor sensor had a built in hold or loop on the top in order to hang it from a string from an eve or wood deck railing. All it has is a wall hanging hole in the back. Can’t vouch for the long time performance as I just purchased it but at the moment it seems to be accurate giving me readings similar to other temperature/humidity devices I have in the house. I like it so much I’m thinking about the older competitors model I have in the kitchen that still works fine.

Nice addition
This weather station was not difficult to set up. Understand that I really dislike anything that is digital (no matter what the claim of ‘ease’ is).Instructions were understandable, and only slightly challenging due to my unfamiliarity with the controls (for example, the dimming button is not a physical button).About twenty minutes should do it.I attached a photo to give you an idea of how the unit looks. For the price I would say it’s well made, and that the functionality is excellent.🇺🇸

Pretty accurate (except for the clock)
Only 4 stars for this because the clock keeps losing time. We can't get it to connect to the atomic clock so we have to set it. It takes awhile to lose time: this morning it was 4 minutes slow (February) after setting it back to EST in November. Other than that, it works great! The large display has 3 brightness settings, the numbers are large & easy to read across the room, and the weather prediction area is more accurate than the local forecasters (even for unexpected lake effect events). We keep it plugged in, but it has a battery option, which is handy for blackouts. We bought an extra sensor to put upstairs in our attic crawlspace where the plumbing is to monitor the winter temperatures in order to prevent burst pipes. The only other *little* negative is that the button to switch between sensors is on the back and I consistently bump the very touchy dim switch that's situated right in the middle on top of the unit. Oh, and the external sensors are nice because they have a little display so I can read the actual temp & humidity when I'm outside.

It’s a good weather station
It came in good condition and the right color and it was easy to set up it’s the right size to fit on the windowsill where I have it at the Remote sensor I like it cause it hast the temperature on there as well my old one didn’t I have not checked the battery life yet on it but I don’t like when it on the battery life it goes dark to quick. I also like that it has the moon settings and it lets you you know what type of shorts you should wear

Easy to read.
Nice bright colors easy to read. The only thing that drives me nuts is every once in a while, the screen goes black, and I finally read that is when it's reading the atomic clock or something like that, I've gotten use to it, it last about 5-7 minutes.

Piece of Junk
Piece of junk and inept customer service (CS).. Initial placement on residence front office desk with window view of adjacent front porch, where transmitter was located on a porch roof post support. Weather station (WS) was adjacent to desktop pc. WS worked fine for around 7-10 days. Then outside temperature and humidity display went blank, NEVER TO RETURN. Then placed WS about 10 feet away, but malfunction continued. I reported issue to manufacturer (MF) customer service, who promptly responded with very technical suggestions over my head. Customer service did apologize and offered a couple more suggestions, of which I do not remember specifics. Lets pause for a momentPREVIOUS OWNERSHIP: Several years I owned an identical product from another manufacturer, which worked successfully for many years at one location. IMPORTANT INFO: Weather station placed on same desk location, with transmitter about 40-45 feet away, within screened back porch, with three walls and an enclosed stairway in between. (WS2). Then I had a rare brainstorm (BS).I decided to set up WS and its transmitter, at WS2 location. No display. Boo! Then my brain had another bright idea. (BS2). Brace yourself.)I then moved WS to back porch, placed on table, around 6-7 feet away from transmitter. Nothing in between. Surely this would solve issue. DEAD WRONG! DEAD IN WATER!! NO DISPLAY OF TEMP & HUMIDITY. INFORMED CUSTOMER SERVICE OF TESTS. Nightmare continues. Waste of time.CS first comment was to try BS2! WHAT? THAT THE TEST I HAD JUST DESCRIBED. DING DONG! MY TRASH CAN GOT MORE JUNK.End of story.Ten

Good enough for my purposes
October 28, 2021Ok, I figured out the atomic clock time problem. DST shifts the time by 2 hours, not 1. So, right now, to get it to sync properly while in DST (it will change in a few weeks), I need to turn OFF DST, then make my time zone Mountain even though I live in the Pacific. If I try Pacific time zone, neither DST settings of OFF or ON give me the correct time - it will either be late by an hour or early by an hour. So when the time change happens, I'll just change the time zone instead of dealing with the DST settings. Also, I'm finding the display going blank for 7 minutes at every update annoying. I understand that once it syncs, it won't do that during the daytime hours, but I'm often working when it does it at 1AM, 2AM, 3AM, 4AM, 5AM. So I have just turned off the atomic clock feature.Otherwise, I'm fairly happy with it. I'm ignoring the forecast picture. I just wanted fairly accurate temperatures, humidities, an atomic clock, bright display, readable at night from 12 feet away. I can't use the atomic feature, so a few stars off but I'll keep the unit because I can't be bothered with debugging another unit. The outdoor sensor I happened to get was within 1F accuracy, but the indoor reads too warm by about 3F. Good enough for me, and I just subtract 3F in my head.I'd give 2.5 stars... will just leave it at 3 for now.I only have 1 sensor, so cannot comment on multiple sensor use. Also, cannot really use the other functions well - like dew-point, min/max because the buttons are on the back, but they are there if I need them occassionally. To get something better in those respects, I need to spend at least 5x more.====October 26, 2021Reducing from 5* to 3*. I thought the time had synchronized properly, but it is off an hour. I have [P] timezone and DST Auto/On, but the clock is too fast by 1 hour. Changing to one of the other North American timezones exacerbates the problem.====October 26, 2021I wanted, and it has:- Bright display, fairly large digits- Accuracy is within a few degrees. Good enough. Even putting the remote sensor next to the unit showed about 3 degrees difference between the two.- I found it pretty easy to use - but that's subjective. I'd say don't throw the manual away.- Light weight. Hanging mine from a thumbtack in drywall (from a string knotted in both the hanging holes).- 3 brightness levels, but I use the brightest and like it.Issues:- I wouldn't bother with the alarm feature. I haven't used that, but the buttons are on the back and I already inadvertently changed the timezone when hanging it back on the wall.- The atomic clock receiver is a bit weak. I had to move it to another room to get it to sync.- It was blanking every hour for 7 minutes while trying to sync. If it doesn't sync/calibrate, I think it will still do that overnight at 1, 2, 3, 4, 5AM. I'll find out over the next few nights as I'm often active then, but need to remember to look at it at the top of the hour.- I would like a way to manually calibrate the temp, but meh.- Would be nice to have a center slot to hang it from - it just has 2 with a 4-ish inch separation. I worked around that.

I just got it yesterday, but I'm already quite impressed!
First of all, it's the biggest, brightest weather station I have had & you truly can see it at all angles & it's a beautiful display. I didn't find it hard to set up at all, but the 1st thing I did was turn off the atomic clock because others have complained about the screen blanking out on them & it was doing that every few minutes & I was going to have none of that. I bought this because I knew I had the option to shut it off. I would rather reset my clock twice a year then have my screen blanking out constantly throughout the day.I'm very impressed with how quickly it calibrated to the weather & temp outside & it is already spot on w/ what my weather app is reporting, so very, very happy. This is a great weather station. I was seriously considering getting a La Crosse but it just seems like people have so many issues with them & they don't even include the plug with their clocks, which I think is ridiculous. Batteries not included is kind of par for the course, but not including the plug? I decided to pass on La Crosse. Those that disliked the La Crosse were fans of Newenter & it's another top brand, so after reading all the reviews, most of them positive, I decided to give it a chance. What really won me over was hearing how great the customer service is & how quickly they replace units that aren't working properly & I heard nothing but complaints about the customer service at La Crosse. So needless to say, I'm glad I made the choice I did & so far I am quite impressed with this weather station.Because of the size of it, the clarity of the design & the large temp numbers, I'd definitely recommend this as a gift for your grandparents or aging parent. But we warned, if giving as a gift, this box isn't put in another box to hide it, so get it put in a gift bag, so the surprise isn't ruined. Or have it sent to your address first so you can wrap it.I would definitely recommend this product. And honestly, unless you live in or very close to Colorado, I wouldn't even mess with the atomic clock. Sounds like a lot of frustration, when the alternative is just to reset your clock twice a year. Just my 2 cents. For what it's worth.

Very good value but see review
Aimed at US customers. Daylight saving time (if armed) will happen when the clock goes back in the US, not when it does in the UK or Europe..

A really nice weather display
This is a very nice, bright and accurate weather display. Overall fit and finish looks good, the display is clear and bright, and appears to be very accurate compared to my other thermometers. It comes with the best user guide I've seen from an Amazon product! Well written, well organized and detailed. It automatically set the time, date and moon cycle within 2 minutes of being turned on. I was able to connect 2 older remote sending units from previous weather displays. The only thing to wish for was a usb power option as I'm off grid. I did find a usb to mini barrel plug cable in my parts bin that worked perfectly (shown in a separate picture, this usb cable is not included) Having indoor and multiple remote temps, humidity, barometer, date, time and moon cycle in one screen is fantastic. Excellent purchase so far.
