what is the difference between surya nature and surya brasil. I know there is a difference in ounces but is there a difference in the product itself?

Surya Brasil is a liquid. I believe the other one is a powder. The liquid is used just like any other hair color. After applying, I wrap my hair with Saran Wrap and a towel and leave it on for two hours. I've been using mahogany for a few years. I just tried chocolate yesterday and the color is gorgeous. All the grays are covered. I found that with mahogany my grays looked blondish which is not what I wanted. The chocolate color is much deeper.

For those that used the mahogany...is the color dark red, brown, or more of a burgundy? I've having a hard time telling from the photos.

It’s definitely not burgundy. It’s a reddish brown. It’s a beautiful color that I used for years, but I switched to chocolate because it’s darker and seems to suit me better.

I have grey hair around the hairline. When I tried the powder/auburn, it just made my hairline orange. Will this product do the same.

Original red Henna is actually orange, so I want to say your result is always gonna be orange if you have great or blond hair.
