Smartseal Matt Finish Concrete Sealer - Easy to Apply for Driveways and Patios - Durable Outdoor Sealer for Stamped and Patterned Surfaces (25 Litres)

Just completed the resealing of a 15 year old 78m² red pressed concrete driveway. Turned out to be an easier job than I'd anticipated. Following instructions: Pressure washed the drive removing all organic matter and loose debris. Waited a few dry days to fully dry out. Applied the repair compound to a number of full width cracks. Thoroughly mixed the matt sealant with deep red colour tint in a giant decorators scuttle 5 litres at a time. Applied using a new 18" soft coco broom. Second coat after two days adding anti-slip compound. Kept vehicles off for 48 hours. The driveway looks fantastic; like new, repairs superb, fully anti-slip, lovely, even, gleaming matt finish. Total application time about 3.5 hours including mixing and repairing. It look almost as long to pressure wash as lots of crap in the pressed block pattern. Total cost including cheap broom (now unusable for anything else!) and scuttle about £200 for effectively a fully refurbished drive! It looks like it'll last for another few years!

Early days but seems like good stuff. Easy to apply, looks like it has sealed well. Dried in 24 hours but could walk on it after 4...

Easy to apply, I used a soft broom. I decanted the sealant into a large plastic box to make it easier to move around. Dried well and the concrete drive now beads nicely after rain

Not the cheapest Sealant but you get what you pay for . Two years on and still no signs of wear , It does stink a lot when applying though .

Recently used this to reseal drive after years of neglect, gave it 2 coats with a brush as advised. Spreads well, absorbs well and looks really good. I used the Matt finish which still left a nice sheen when dried so wouldn’t want the silk look but would be down to preference, would recommend does what it says on the tin.

Covered well, very easy to apply and drive totally transformed. Added a small amount of the colour powder and worked well!
