Excellent value with very good quality and GREAT design for easy assembly
I am very impressed with these. They are VERY simple to install - simply strip back existing cord shielding, slide 1/2 of cap onto cord, strip about 1/4" from the ends of 3 cables and screw to proper ground, neutral and hot. 3 screws takes unit apart, 2 screws to pinch cable after installation. I'd say quality of plastic and durability feel is about 7-8 on scale of 1-10. Pretty great for affordable price. Only negative, and very minor, is added length but in some ways this makes it easier to handle. I did put some grease (could have used caulk) where the cable is pinched to make more water resistant. Otherwise there are some very small gaps that water could enter and would be hard to dry out.

Nicely designed
You would not think there was much difference between connectors like this, but there is. I had just used a different brand and it was a pain, working with the common stranded wire found in most cords and trying to form it into hooks and secure under a screw was tedious. This one surprised me. Give the stranded wires a good twist to tighten them up and insert them into the appropriate , clearly labeled ports and tighten down the screw that will firmly capture the wire. No hooks, no escaping strands of wire that pose shorting risks. The bare copper is fully contained and protected. My only issue, operator error, was making the single strands too long, and it did not allow the strain relief to fully capture the cable. I shortened the wires a bit, took another run at it and perfect, professional and finished look. Much easier to install than the screw and hook method connectors. The screws will accept both flat and Philips driver, but you want a good grip use a #1 Robertson drive (square). Very happy with this item, well-thought-out and my new go to for future needs

Well Made
This is a more sturdy connector than many. It also has three screws vs. many with two. The clamp is better than most.

Great for a consumer-grade product
I found these to be of fairly high quality and equal to Leviton or Hubbell in ease of assembly and functionality. However, after years of using Hubbell and Leviton in production environments, you can tell that these ELEGRP are manufactured for consumer use (and priced for consumers). The plastic is a bit softer therefore you can feel that the screws engagement feels less secure. Whereas the others feel very positive and tight, these feel like you could always get maybe a few more degrees of rotation on the screw, yet unsure of if it's tight enough. For general household use, these are good enough and I wouldn't hesitate to use them for a quick repair.

Easy extension cord fix
Fixed my melted 100' extension cord in a breeze. Super easy to install. I feel confident using it, doesn't feel like it will melt. So much cheaper than replacing a cord!

Horribly flawed design.
Horribly flawed design. Connection screws don't fit properly into channels and are so over-torqued it's ridiculous. Impossible to unscrew with a screwdriver. Perhaps clamped in a vise and a cordless drill screwdriver bit??? I give up. I refuse to fight it any more. Have already ordered another from a different manufacturer. This one's going back to Amazon immediately.
