Wonderful craft
Wonderful craft for kids. This allows kids to be creative since they can pick the colors and combine them however they wish. Takes time, but it kept the kids entertained and they were so excited for the finished product. I had to purchase more clay because they want to make more luminaries to give away as gifts.

good
Super easy and came out great. We had enough clay to make 4 lanterns. I like it !!!!

Something nice to do with kids
This was a cute kit. It was missing a few items like the stencil to make the clay go around the form for the luminary. The pictures make the luminary look so much larger than it is. But overall it is a nice kit to keep kids busy for a while.

Great for girls and boys!
I have purchased this kit twice now, each time for use with a different set of child relatives. As someone without kids herself (the "cool auntie"), I find it tricky to come up with good activities we all can have fun doing together. It can be easy to either overestimate or underestimate their abilities, focus, attention span, or what's cool enough to them to avoid the dread eyeroll. Both sets of kids loved this project! All the parts needed are included, so don't worry about purchasing tea lights. With my nephews, we worked on the project on Thanksgiving Day. It was self-contained both time-wise and mess-wise. They loved watching the colors working together and how the light shone through. They carried their finished works around with them and not up whatever room they were in!Highly recommended. For reference, the kids in this story were 4, 6, and 9 at the time.

This colorful candle project did not turn out as shown on the directions!
This was not an easy project for my Grandchildren, ages 8 and 10. We worked together to roll out 4 sets of clay strips. We quickly realized it was impossible to keep their shape and adhere to the mold for baking. The beautiful clay designs they worked so hard on collapsed during the baking process.I would not recommend this product.

Finished luminaries Grammy camp project!
My grandchildren loved making these ages 13-8. The cut outs were a little difficult. The directions were good. Plenty of supplies. Even included the light! Loved these
