Tape Original Silver, 50mm x 25m. The original high strength waterproof gaffer and duct adhesive cloth repair tape

Used duck tape for many years and was surprised to read quiet a few negative reviews as I'd always found it great in both professional use and home use. Gladly not disappointed with this latest roll either. I agree the tape is a little thinner than my last roll (3yrs old - was the big one), but it's retained it's strength, fabrics and materials improve over years and I'd say this is as strong as the old stuff. Still need to start the tear off, usually with a small bite on an edge, then t tears nicely in a straight line. It's really sticky, you have to work duct tape out to use it properly, keep it straight for as long as possible, because if it twists on itself and sticks togther, invariably you'll need a new peice (one of the manin moans in other reveiws - you need to use this stuff properly). I was enclosing some polyfoam to stop i being rubbed and getting damaged, so was applying to a surface that doesn't readily like sticky tapes, but it stuck really well asn as I did a double loop its vreated a great protective covering. I did the each loop in 3 sections, about 30cms long, long enough to keep straight, guide into the box and to the polyfoam separater without catching the strip on the sides, fixing on end on a corner, then using both hands to keep it tight and guide it onto ther separater in straight lines. Using this stuff needs a bit of patience, not to be rushed, as it will catch you out if you let it. Ths is the same for most good duct tapes, because once they've stuck, they're stuck..

This black duct tape is really great. It’s strong, sticks well and feels durable for all sorts of jobs around the house. It tears easily when needed but still holds firmly once applied. The black colour looks neat and blends in well where needed. Very useful to have on hand and good quality overall. Would definitely buy again.

This is not real duck tape it is barely sticky at all. Real duck tape is difficult to even get some off the roll, the glue is supposed to be thick and when you stick the glue sides together you normally cannot pull it apart. I touched the glue side with clean hands and then it had no stick left. This has got to be counter fit or if this is the real company you deserve to go bankrupt because £16 for 2 rolls of useless tape is not ok, I trusted a well known brand. I have Sellotape that is stronger then this.

Habe das Tape dazu benutzt ein Kabel zu umwickeln und um etwas an ein Metallpedal zu kleben. Bei beiden kam es an mehreren Stellen dazu, dass sich das Tape gelöst hast. Habe es beim Kabel dann nochmal festgedrückt, aber auch da gab es mehrere Stellen, bei denen es sich wieder gelöst hat.
