Takes you back to your childhood - with an adult twist!
This short book was fun. It took the characters of The Famous Five and many of the old illustrations, updating them for modern times. In this book, Anne's birthday presents begin a whole new fad - a gluten free diet. How will they all take to it? Will they manage? You'll have to read it yourself to see!

Famous Five for grown-ups
Growing up, I was the BIGGEST Famous Five fan around and still have many of the original Enid Blyton stories on my bookshelves. I'd seen some of the recent 'Famous Five for grown-ups' books in one of the bookshops and considered getting a couple of them. However, as a recently diagnosed Coeliac, I just couldn't resist this particular one and just had to send for it - HILARIOUS! Imagine 'a Famous Five picnic' without any gluten-containing foods, while trying to make Aunt Fanny understand life without bread and cake ;-).

Gluten Free- Pure Genius
Saw this book in London and seeing the characters and the style written as an Enid Blyton book was genius. Great fun to read and full of tongue in cheek humour. I purchased this for my friend as a gift.

Hilarious parody on both famous five stories and gluten free people who don't really need to be. We took it turns to read it aloud and ended up howling with laughter and tears rolling down our cheeks. Brilliant fun!
