This fit perfectlyhe in my 1997 Yamaha Superjet!
I've purchased a Waterwich switch for my old 550 Jetski, and I needed a starter solenoid for my Yamaha superjet so I figured I'd try it since the bilge switch works great. Once I opened up the e-box on my superjet, it was pretty much the same one that was in there. I swapped them out, put everything back together and it fired right up. Build quality seems good. Hard to know what's going on inside, but for now it fit and was less than 1/2 the price of the Yamaha one.

Perfect fit for 2011 Coleman/Parsun F9.9/F15
Perfect fir for a 2011 Coleman/Parsun F9.9/F15 Yamaha clone. It went right into the factory mount and worked as intended. Much cheaper than an OEM Yamaha solenoid.

My high hopes were too high
After much troubleshooting and testing, replacing this item was the answer to my problem, plus it was about $75 cheaper than the auto parts store. Needless to say, it didn't work and I ended up taking my boat into a trustworthy boat service center. The ended up replacing this solenoid with OEM because because it apparently had "loose parts" inside and wasn't making contact.
