Waist Trainer for Weight Loss and Postpartum Women C Section Recovery Belt Girdle

I bought this to wear after my daughter was born to (hopefully!) help squeeze muscles back into place. I put it on about a week after the birth and wore it religiously in the daytime for the next 6 weeks or so. This belt is not in any way attractive but that wasn't high on my list of priorities in those first weeks, and it is comfortable and wonderfully supportive to tummy and lower-back. My doctor and midwife both thought it was a great idea and I am pleased with the results. My stomach has flattened well and I was in good shape to start stomach exercises after my 6 week check. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this product to friends who are expecting and have already bought another for my neighbour (which she loved!) who was struggling with lower back pain post-delivery.

Ive waited to write a review for this product as I wanted to use it first and I am now 6 weeks post delivery and have been using this support belt since first week after emergency c-section. My delivery was not planned to be a c-section and I wasnt sure if i could use this support belt due to the c-section cut, if it would hurt wearing it etc but it has really worked good and I have felt its been a great help to me supporting both abdomen and back. Its so good that you can adjust the waist and have less pressure on the lower part of your tummy especially after c-section. I also need to add that I was 2 weeks over and my son was 9 pounds so the belly after delivery was huge (like i was still 6 months pregnant!!) I purchased a Medium size belt as I was a curvy size 10-12. I was worried about the size but Medium has been perfect for me. My tummy now 6 weeks later has gone down and i thought that the Medium would be too big for my waist but you can actually adjust the belt to smaller, then the velcro is set to - as the velcro fastening sticks to the belt itself so you can make it as small as you want!! the velcro is very very strong and sticky. I also need to add that i havent used this religiously,like every day and night- i wear it when im out and about, walking and doing house work (perhaps a few hours a day) and that is cos i forget to put it on, not because its uncomfortable or anything. Its actually really nice to feel yuour tummy sucked in when your tummy muscles have been ripped to shreds. I also think it has helped my tummy to get back into "position" and 6 weeks after delivery i carry on using it to get my pre pregnancy tummy back. My only little minus with this belt is that its not very comfortabe when your sitting down, so definately not for relaxing in (unless you lie down) as its pretty high and VERY supportive, it also cuts into your back (top edge) a bit but ive used a vest top underneath the support belt and resolved it with that. but i can manage my normal things like breastfeeding etc with it on. I definately recommend this product!!

I have bought this product in advance to use after having my baby, who now has arrived. I have tried this belt on the first day I got home (on Monday and today is Friday) and it works wonders! My tummy is already going significantly down and my waistline is making a come back. Also the back is reinforced so if you have a very bad back like mine it is even more worth the investment. A note of advice though - build up your wear time, do not try to wear it the whole day from the start as you will end up being very uncomfortable, instead just wear it a little longer with each time.

I bought this to use after our baby was born- my stomach muscles were severely damaged by the pregnancy/birth. The item is too itchy to wear on your bare skin (left quite a few deep red marks). It's also pretty long- I'm 5" 7 and it went from my pelvis up to just under my breasts- which was very uncomfortable when sitting down. If you're thinking about getting this, I would recommend going a size below what the size chart states. They're quite generous in size. I gave up after a few weeks and switched to a softer elasticised material belt. This worked much better!

I ordered this belt in time for the birth of my 3rd baby. It offered good support especially when I walked out of the hospital but after wearing it for a few days I started feeling a little uncomfortable with the material used. I had to then wear it over clothes to make it more bearable. I was really hoping for something inconspicuous that could be worn under clothes. this could def be seen unfortunately,.

Bought this product as I still looked six months pregnant when my daughter was 10 weeks old. Not sure if I had left it too late to use, but pleased to report that it worked! Have been wearing it for ten days now and my waist has definitely reduced. My bellybutton has also gone back in as a result of using this belt - was worried I would require surgery to correct but this product has removed that need! Have to agree with previous reviewer that it is like a girdle and it is a real relief to remove at the end of the day, but am glad I have persevered with this, even in the hot weather we have had this summer. Agree that you definitely need to measure yourself to get the right size - I was bang in the middle of the sizing for the size I purchased and probably could have gotten away with the next size down. However the Velcro sticks to the whole of the belt, not just the Velcro area, so I have been pulling it in very tight, a good two inches away from the edge of the Velcro. Did think it was expensive but after the results I have had, plus no longer requiring surgery to my bellybutton, definitely think it was well worth the money. Definitely would recommend to friends.
