Great tamarind candy — clean and flavorful
These are genuinely good. The tamarind-chili balance is right — sweet, sour, and spicy without any one flavor overpowering the others. Texture is soft and chewy, not gritty or overly sticky like some tamarind candies I've had. Nothing tastes off or artificial, and the 16oz size lasts a while. Packaging arrived intact. I have already ordered a 2nd package!

Fresh and good
I really enjoyed this product. It came fresh and I love that its real tamarind fruit. Seeds are to be expected as anyone eating tamarind fruit knows. Its not spicy at all the chile is slight.

I liked it!
I couldn't find the whole tamarind pods anywhere online, this was the closest option available. I noticed a lot of reviews complaining about the seeds, but anyone who has eaten tamarind straight from the tree knows that seeds are just part of the experience. May be seller mention this on the packaging so that people who are new to tamarind are not caught by surprise. I grew up picking both green and ripe red tamarind from under the tree, I prefer it in its natural form. This one is coated with light sugar, salt and spice. Some of the pods tasted tangy and sour as expected, while others a bit stale and bitter, not sure why. I bought the larger pack and the quality of pods was much better compared to the small one. I have been snacking on these every day. 4 stars because it's a bit pricey and spice although not bad, wish it had a bit more kick. That said, I am pretty sure I will be buying this again.

Quality and Delivery
When purchasing it said next day delivery. However the order arrived 3 days later. Kept saying running late. Plus the candy is very dry and way too many seeds!
