This item is real value for money. It may be light in weight, but it has all the connections that a modern TV should have, SCART included. Most importantly of all, the picture is very good for a screen resolution of 1366x768, the viewing angles are wide, black levels good, and colours are rich and vibrant. A high quality panel is certainly used. The TV does come with a remote control, and so the other reviewer was wrong to make that general statement. Recommended.

Easy to.set up.and use great purchase

Pretty easy to set up the basics. I don't know how efficient it is downloading all the channels, as I only use a Roku stick. It would have been nice to have had two HDMI ports, then I could have connected my DVD player without having to cross plug it when I want to use that. The picture is lovely, but the audio could be better. Even after manually adjusting it, it is still rather tinny and sibilant, somewhat resembling a 1960s transistor radio. The legs were fiddly to attach and, initially, I thought the screws were missing - they were hiding in a small white envelope, inside the larger envelope containing the instructions, taped to the inside of the box. The TV is very light, and easy to move around. It is so light, when it arrived, I thought they had delivered an empty box! For the price, though, on the whole I am happy with it. I can't fit anything larger than a 24" in the space, and I don't need a smart TV, so this fits the bill, except for the disappointing audio.

Terrible tv no menu button so you can adjust the sound. Brightness and contrast and colour as you can on older sets. Terrible sound and everyo e has orange faces very difficult to adjust things without a menu button. Sound is terrible. Terrible sound vivid colour bright orange faces AVOID.

This is a lightweight and easy tv to plumb in. The picture is good but the sound is incredibly tinny. The options to make changes to the sound output seem to make no difference. Have dusted off an old speaker and I’ll get a cable to hopefully improve things. This tv also comes up under ‘smart tv’ searches and I mistakenly believed that it was (didn’t read the specs fully), so buyer beware. I’ve plugged an old Roku box into it which gets me all I need for the bedroom where watching tv is just for an hour or so. I was tempted to send it back and replace but for the small amount of time I’d be using it, I’m willing to overlook the issues. Definitely not good enough to be a ‘main’ tv, the sound just isn’t up to it.
