Fantastic carpet cleaner
Oh im tickled beyond happy. I had a old Bissell carpet cleaner that lasted me 5 years. I was surprised because it wasn't a fancy thing. But, I knew it needed desperately a new carpet cleaner. Let me set up my household. I have a man who for the life of me, doesn't wipe his boots before coming into the house. We live in Florida, we have sand. But, when its wet, its a messy clob. He will also mow the grass, work on cars, work with building stuff, and we have chickens for eggs....THEN come strolling in and yeah, it gets dirty pretty bad. Ha I also have, no judgment, 5 cats (3 rescues, 1 adopted my porch, then became family and 1 we still don't know where it came from. Was only about 5 weeks old when found and is a simease cat *no simease cats around here* so, there's 5 cats, 3 dogs. 1 is a 16 year old shih tzu, 1 is a spaniel *saved from the pound on last day left* and 1 great pyrenees. These carpets get their use. I don't do the typical floor tiles thats popular in Florida. My feet don't do hard surfaces. Ha. So, now that youre imagination a indoor petting zoo....its not, but the foot traffic...its a busy walking areas. I just used this marvelous carpet cleaner. The steam is definitely wonderful. I got small stains out that I couldn't even scrub out with dawn dish soap and a scrub brush..with EASE! This just went over those areas ONCE and im like, whaaat?? WOW! GONE! No more spots, no stains. Soooooo easy to fill, soooo easy to clean and that brush is fantastic. It also DIDN'T keep even one strand, clump of pet hair on the brush. NOTHING got clogged up because of pet hair and it was so easy to refill mid job, and so easy to assemble. Its not heavy. I was able to maneuver it very well. Im in my 60s, so I'm not as strong as I was in my 40s. But, I was pleasantly surprised by this carpet cleaner. I give it a 10/10 5 stars! I did get it on payments. Hopefully you can too. Because if youre trying to decide, need a carpet cleaner, but the budget is tight...get THIS, and on payments. Im just a regular amazon buyer. Im not a social media person, im not a paid bot. Im just giving you my honest review. Im extremely happy! Its worth the money. No question. Works great. Dries carpet quickly. And my house smells wonderful.

SO VERY EASY, everything, and GREAT.
My old machine was a nightmare compared to this one... SO VERY EASY, everything from putting it together, out of the box (took me less than minute) to using it. NOTE: For those people who mentioned dirty water in the hose after use, do this fix: FIX: Put the upholstery attachment on the hose, set it to clean and clean the hose. For me I am a senior, and now have many limits. But this machine I am able to use, I just take breaks. It is no more effort than using an upright vacuum. And the PLUS for me is the smaller water and shampoo. My old one was so heavy that it separated the bottom of the plastic container from the top (a design flaw) and the model was discontinued so I was stuck. Since my limits physically this smaller one is wonderful I take a break when I run out, and I am not bothered to fill it a couple times if needed to do a whole room or one area twice. I needed something with steam. I have a blind cat and she missed the pee pad sometimes. I read the reviews, I watched the videos. When it arrived I already knew how to use it, but I still read the manual, and used it the same day. It does GREAT and so, so easy. There was something in a 2 inch area in my carpet. I have no idea what spilled. It was not something that obviously showed. It did NOT come out easily, but I concentrated on that spot with the steam for a while, a few times, and it got it out. I was using the shampoo with oxy and it would foam around this spot, so I could tell when it was gone. AMAZING, and it was NO work on my part, easy. I love the 2 separate CLEAR containers. I appreciate not having large heavy containers. The electric cord is a good length. The steam kills insects (if it is hot enough I could not find what temp it had), as well as helps with tough stains. Helps get rid of dust and pollen (vs blowing around in dry vacuum). I would LOVE the manufacture to tell me the temp, I believe 130 degrees is required for bugs and larvae. My house is on a slab foundation, so sometimes bugs and be an issue. I am so happy I spent more than I had originally intended and got this. I can't wait to do all my rugs. And it is so easy to use that I will wash them more often, and I LOVE the fresh smell in the house.

Powerful Bissell HydroSteam Carpet Cleaner for Deep Stains
The Bissell Revolution HydroSteam Carpet Cleaner is one of the best deep cleaning machines I’ve used for keeping carpets fresh, especially in a busy home. If you have kids, pets, or high-traffic areas, this upright carpet cleaner makes a noticeable difference after just one use. The HydroSteam Technology really stands out. It helps loosen tough, dried-on dirt and stains that regular carpet cleaners struggle with. I tested it on older traffic lanes and pet messes, and the carpets looked brighter and felt softer after drying. The suction power is strong, pulling up a lot of dirty water, which shows how deep it cleans. The 4-inch self-cleaning tough stain tool is perfect for stairs, furniture, and spot cleaning. It’s easy to attach, and I like that it rinses itself out, which keeps things more hygienic. The included formulas work great and leave a clean smell without being overpowering. Despite being a powerful machine, it’s still fairly easy to maneuver. The water tanks are simple to remove and refill, and the dirty tank is easy to empty. For an upright deep cleaner, it doesn’t feel overly bulky. Pros: ✔ Excellent deep cleaning performance ✔ Great for pet stains and odors ✔ HydroSteam helps lift tough, set-in dirt ✔ Useful attachments for upholstery and stairs ✔ Easy tank removal and maintenance Cons: – A bit heavier than basic carpet cleaners – Takes some drying time (normal for deep cleaning) Overall, this Bissell carpet cleaner is a great investment if you want professional-level results at home. It’s especially ideal for pet owners and families who need a reliable deep carpet cleaning machine that handles tough stains and everyday messes.

The worst purchase of my life – Not even exaggerating
Oh. My. God. This is hands down the worst purchase I’ve ever made. This machine is the most poorly designed vacuum I’ve ever come across. Assembly? A complete nightmare. I literally had to stand on it to get the clear cover to snap into place. That should’ve been my first warning. I did half my living room the first day, planning to finish the rest the next, and things seemed okay—aside from constantly having to remove the cover to clear out pet hair that somehow wasn’t getting properly sucked up. Turns out, pet hair gets stuck between the panels in the clear cover that directs water to the bin, and there’s no way to open that section to clean it out. So once hair is lodged in there, it stays there—blocking the tunnel and making water extraction way less effective. Then, everything spiraled downhill. By the next day, the machine was barely sucking up water. By the time I got to just one bedroom, it was struggling to spray and extract properly. Then I tried using the hose attachment, and that’s when the real chaos began. The front panel kept popping off, spraying water everywhere—all over my clothes. When I finally tried attaching the hose, I had to stand on the panel just to get it to click in place. It took every ounce of strength I had, which is absolutely absurd. Within two minutes of using the pet cleaning function, the vacuum clogged, forcing me to stop, take it to the shower, detach the hose, and clear it out. I had to do this four times just to clean a tiny 2x2 closet. The mental breakdown that followed? I won’t even comment. The buttons and release mechanisms on this thing are a joke. Every latch is so tiny and recessed that you can’t press it with your fingers—mind you, I wear a size 5 ½ ring. I had to use an Allen key or a flathead screwdriver just to detach any part of the machine. And when it was finally time to pack this disaster up to return it? The hose doesn’t even have a quick-release button—you need a screwdriver just to get the handle out. At that point, I genuinely wanted to chop it into pieces and shove it in the box. What should have taken one to two hours ended up taking over six hours across two days. I should have known better—I already have a normal Bissell vacuum that smells like it’s on fire when I use it. I should’ve taken the hint and stayed far, far away from this brand. But now? Now, I know for a fact that Bissell is a complete scam. You could probably find a better carpet cleaner on Temu for $15, and I wouldn’t be surprised if it worked better than this. Don’t waste your time. Don’t even bother. Buy literally anything else. It might not be amazing, but I guarantee it won’t be worse.

Cleans well
41/2 stars. So far it works well. I had a pretty stinky area where my dog likes to mark. We tried other cleaners but it felt like it just drug the smell around more. This time the carpet smells fresh as of now. I’ll know more tomorrow when it’s fully dry. Here is the break down if you’re interested in my opinion. 1- this is a substantial machine. Heavy an larger than most I have owned. But this is actually a bonus. It is wider and gets more done and the heaviness applies needed pressure to suck up liquid better. 2- so easy to use. The canisters pop right on and off. Fill line for water and keeping filling line for the bissell chemicals. Easy. Love right back on. 3- plug in and three lights appear on the machine for the three modes. Power button on and the water heats up for pro max mode which is default. You select the modes right there by the power button. Make sure to pay attention about recommended types for the various reasons. 4- easy to clean up. Dump gross water and rinse. 5- storing can be a challenge if you use limited space but a basement or garage makes easy work of that WHY 4 Stars and not 5? I think the design is lacking. Typical wrap up cord style. Okay. BUT.. the attachments for the spot cleaning have nowhere to sit on the actual machine. There is a cheap bag that holds the hose which barely can hold the other two heads. I just think it’s poorly designed. We were afraid we may lose those parts when we need them. Also once they are used not sure how gross they will be sitting just around. We shall see. So far so good though.

Much better than older model.
Replaced an old Bissell 10+ years old when motor just wouldn’t turn bristles with resistance. Many improvements noted in design, especially ease of cleaning device during and after use. The big wheels on side just as wobbly however, but doesn’t seem affect the function. Old version had some bristles on front edges that seemed to help slightly on sideboards, had a little difficulty keeping new version on the wall sideboards. Otherwise a great clean, and does seem to dry faster with steam. Of course stuff dries fast here with ambient humidity 15%. I haven't tried attachments.

Super !
This is an amazing carpet cleaner. I had a cleaner by another top name and thought I was doing well until I tried this HydroSteam cleaner. WOW! It pulled up dirt the other never touched. Using the Bissel solution leaves no residue behind to attract dirt. The roller brushes are a breeze to access to remove any lint or threads. I would recommend this cleaner without hesitation.

Best Thing I bought in 2024!
This thing has been phenomenal I use it every week. Couches, carpets abused by my pets and babies. Cleans everything, I always use stain remover and follow the soap level guides for the right dilution. The suction on the floor tool is better than the hand tools. The carpet does dry WAY faster than the couches and chairs. Might take 2 passes but it's so easy to clean out the canister too. I would make the bottom dirty water and the little clean water tank the same size, the capacity seems lopsided. Haven't had any leaks. Would recommend!

Amazing Machine
I have owned several different carpet cleaners and this blows them all out of the water. Went over an area that I had done 3 days before with my old machine before it randomly died, the water was black coming out of the carpet. Even on the deep clean setting it only takes a day for the carpet to dry. The machine is east to set up and even easier to use, I don't use bissel solution I use HDX Extractor from home depot and it works great as long as you follow the instructions on the bottle not the lines on the jug. The part I love is how easy it is to clean the head, not to mention how easy it is to remove the dirty water container.
