How do I put the spring on the spinner door

I do not use mine. I think it’s for safety if you have small kids. If fits onto of the little white lid over the spinner then shut the outta lid. It comes in and out.

What is the water capacity for each load? How many gallons?

The amount of water it takes & excretes will fill up about 1/4-1/2 of a regular bath tub. Anywhere from 5-20 gal. With extra 5gal for spin dry. Has no shut off like a regular washer

Does this "Gravity Drain Pump" pump UPWARD to a sink, or only horizontally ?

The drain has to be lower than the machine or sink. It does not go upwards. Only down

What is the length of the electric cord and input/drainage hoses?

If you put in front of a kitchen sink. The drain hose needs to be at least 45". It is not. Notified company. Electric cord will not be long enough to reach a counter GFI plug in kitchen. You will need a wall GFI. Sorry, it was a gift and not able to measure as I write.
