This is probably the prettiest version of Rainbow High Violet Willow that there is in my opinion - I love that she finally has a bit more colour to her lips which makes all the difference. A fully articulated doll with pretty glass eyes, proper eyelashes and good quality hair, I think Rainbow High is one of the best quality regular doll lines there is. As a family this is one of the doll lines we collect, and of late even though the quality is great as you would expect from MGA, the most recent dolls have only had one outfit included, with tiny plastic accessories instead, while still being the same price as previous versions. I'm so pleased to see that in this "Fantastic Fashion" line we have 2 outfits again, even if the second outfit is more simple than we used to get it's still a nice outfit and a big improvement in my opinion (would be better with a second pair of shoes as well, but I'll take the outfit over only accessories any day) . There is also a doll sized plastic notebook and pencil, to look like Violet has been designing her outfit, which she can hold and is cute. There is a matching purple doll stand and comb included in the box (no hangers though). Violet's outfit is based on one from the animated series and it was lovely surprise to have this line in these outfits, they've translated very well from the animated version - MGA did a fab job with that!. She is probably the one that looks like she has the most simple or underwhelming outfit in this line, but in real life I think she's gorgeous. Pictures do not do her justice. The main dress reminds me of 1920's style, and is very shiny nice quality material with tiny faux pearls all over it all the way around and feather inspired details around each layer and the straps. These pearls are stuck down well, not so prone to coming off as some of the previous dolls, which is great! Her hair in in a high ponytail with part of it wrapped around, and tiny hair clips/slides in on the top. I think it's really pretty. The second outfit is a simple but sparkly dress in purple and a short white fluffy jacket - it's not very detailed but it does look good on her and I always appreciate a second outfit. I'm also impressed that her make up is done very well, there are no flaws or issues with my doll. I took a star off as I feel she should have had some earrings and maybe a necklace included to complete the look (especially with the price increase) so I'll have to make some myself for her, but overall this a stunning doll and I'd definitely recommend her.

She is beautiful in person. She has all the joints rainbow high doesn't want to give us anymore, her makeup and hair are beautiful, and I wax lucky enough to not find any flaws at all on my particular Violet. I restyled her, but she came with very cute clothes. ^-^

Queste bambole sono fantastiche. Sono una nonna, e rimango incantata dalla loro perfezione: sono snodate, gli occhi enormi con ciglia lunghissime, capelli folti e pettinabili. Per non parlare di quanto sono accurati abiti e accessori. Una vera meraviglia che giustifica pienamente il costo. Ci gioco anch'io con le mie nipoti!

Sunny Madison is a really beautiful character, and this one? Definitely. Her hair in pigtails is beautifully done and two parts of her hair is braided. Her face, outfit, second outfit and accessories had no flaws. However, her hair is slightly gelled, but it's easy to comb/wash out. Anyways, this doll came a day earlier than expected. Thank you!
