I have a collection of fidget spinners I started about 2 months ago when I started quitting nicotine. They've kind of formed a few categories: can carry, will wreck pockets, ordinary, unique. I strongly prefer heavy, solid ones that are a bit interesting to contemplate. This one is so mesmerizing that even though I don't like to put fidget spinners into cases to carry them (I like to be able to just grab them) I use the case to save my pockets and carry it anyway. I was in the fence about getting it after reviews that gears can come loose, but when I saw the video of how fast the gears could spin when someone just flicked them, I had to have it. SO glad I got it! It's heavy -- and SO solidly made. I STRONGLY agree with another review that you need to tighten all the gears before you start using it, or one WILL go flying. Even so, just buy it. Buy it, and check every once in a while with the little included Allen wrench to tighten. It up. It is SO satisfying to use while sorting out thoughts. Is there a more perfect spinner while running your mental gears? It's so appropriate. And the weight of it is so grounding! This is NOT, in any way, a flimsy "toy". It's an incredibly smooth spinner that works in multiple ways. It has even been a conversation piece. The odds of me also getting the black one just so I can have one in my office AND one on my dining room table are very high. Completely recommend!

I already have some of the other brass fidget spinners from this vendor. Obviously, I like them. It's fun to watch the meshing gears. And it's very quiet when spinning.

When I first received this small nine gear fidget, I expected to be disappointed. But…I was surprised and delighted by its sparkling look, its hefty weight, its obviously high quality materials and design, and how solid and sturdy it felt in the hand. The fidget is made primarily to spin like a top, which it does magnificently, and for lengthy periods. Yet, I was much more interested in the interplay of watching the nine gears interact by just applying a “force/push” to ONE gear, and then seeing ALL the gears move clockwise or counter-clockwise simultaneously.. I did this by holding the fidget vertically, with my thumb and forefinger on each side of one of the four white metallic semi-circles., and then softly pushing any of the eight available gears on the periphery I could then watch ALL the gears move slowly at first, and then rapidly spin, in accordance with the strength of the push that I gave the selected starting gear. It was sheer fun to observe the gears in action while I happily manipulated the tempo. From that point on I have rarely used it as merely a spinning top because the gear movements can’t really be seen while the fidget is spinning horizontally. And to me, the real joy is to observe the variable gear movements, as controlled by my own push. This delightful fidget is very highly recommended as an adult toy for all fidget lovers. and certainly for everyone else as well..

This is my favorite spinner of a collection. I marked it down one star because the central axis unscrews too easily.

I really like this Fidget Spinner. As you can see from the video, it spins for a little over 1 minute, but I am not looking for something thats going to keep spinning unassisted. Kind of the reason I bought it is so that I can fidget with it. I did have to go and tighten all the screws as 1 fell out and one of the center pieces where you hold it came out. But that was no problem as you also get a case and an Allen Wrench to do just that. Took only about 30 seconds to tighten everything. Highly Recommend!

I really don't have any complains; it fascinates pretty much everyone who sees it because the machined gears work so smoothly. If I could change a thing, it would be to make the central gear removable, so that you could spin the gears and the entire fidget independently of each other. The central gear holds the spinner bearings, so you need to keep it. The way I use it is: I removed the top/bottom caps (that you hold the spinner with), and just spin the gears while the case sits on the table (or while just holding it). More fun that way.

I've watched them sit 'crosseyed' with this gadget and marvel at the order and precision. We've bought these for birthday gifts for friends and they are appreciated.

This is the best fidget spinner I own. Ordered a bunch of different kinds of fidget spinners and I don’t know why but this one just feels so solid. Definitely worth it.
