This heat shield is perfect! I have an aftermarket exhaust on my Honda Grom and I have Kemimoto saddle bags that rest on the exhaust/tailpipe. I had heat tape on the bag, but was still worried about it getting too hot. I added this heat shield for peace of mind and it works great.

I picked up this heat shield to protect my saddlebags from the exhaust on my KLX250 dual sport, and it works exactly as advertised. Installation was quick and straightforward, and it’s held up great on and off-road. The build quality is solid, and it stays in place even after some rough riding. It’s already prevented heat damage to my bags on longer rides, which makes it well worth the price. Definitely a must-have if you’re running soft luggage near a hot pipe. Great product!

Good product and easy to install. I would like it to be a bit bigger, not thicker but bigger. After installing this I still have an area on my exhaust that needs to have something to protect my items i am carrying from being damaged from the hot exhaust. Also not that even though this is pretty thin it does stick out a bit and if you tip your bike over it may make the muffler a little more vulnerable to damage. I needed this to protect a bag that likes to touch my muffler.

I used these for the saddlebags I installed on my Triumph Daytona 955i because the one sat on the muffler. This is working great so far. Fairly easy to install. Hardest part was cutting off the excess strap.

Pretty basic heat shield wish they offered a little bigger option this one on an aftermarket exhaust just seems a little small to me. Easy to install and doesn’t look terrible or gaudy. Haven’t had any problems out of it.

Bought several of these to protect soft bags on multiple bikes. Very good quality product at a good price (at least when I purchased).
