I bought this for softball, but not as a catcher. I've moved to 3 fingers in the pinky which is great but it exposes a lot of the heel of my palm. After getting beamed in the palm from a high velocity hit off an even wilder bounce, I opted for some protection. Comfortable and just that extra bit of padding is great protection

Purchase this glove for my son to wear underneath his catchers mitt for extra palm Support. It works great and does what it’s supposed to do and makes his catching experience so much easier. Fits well under his glove and is very durable. Highly recommend for any one who needs extra palm padding while catching.

Works great under her regular glove to add some padding. She doesn't like using a catchers mitt so this was the next option to keep her hand from hurting while playing catcher position.
