These spikes look and feel great! Used the Softspikes Cleat Caddy to install. I’ve seen a lot of YouTube videos with horrible looking installs. Decided to go with the proprietary wrench kit and was not disappointed! Well worth the money if you want to do it right and have an easier time. With that said, getting my old spikes out was a pain! I had never replaced them and used them for about 6-7 years. So it wasn’t a surprise that they were snug. I did strip one spike on install because I over torqued it. They should be set after about two clicks, but sometimes it’s like 2.5-3 clicks. Even though it’s stripped, it still feels tight enough it won’t fall out (insert Michael Scott joke). And 17/18 ain’t so bad. I haven’t played in them yet, but wanted to get the install video up sooner. You can see in the video that I turn it back a half click to start so it ends up being about 3 total for this one. Hope this helps anyone else searching for a basic install video.

Amazing traction and easy to install. Huge upgrade

My FootJoys came with softspikes that were fine for dry weather. But when you play after the rain, or early morning in the dew, a little extra traction helps. So now I keep one pair of shoes outfitted with these spikes and use them in wetter conditions. These spikes have a firmer plastic than the regular softspikes.

This wrench works WAY better than any I have used in my 40 years of golfing! Grips the spikes way better than the standard 2 post wrench. Worth it!

Love this spikes, but more difficult than others to get properly seated. They last a good long time. Be careful walking on the greens to ensure you do not damage the greens as the spikes are fairly aggressive.
