Can you only use this to hang it on a wood beam? Or can you hang it on a regular ceiling?

I would only recommend hanging it on a wood beam. I have mine in my garage.

The carabiner part that hooks to the thick horizontal screw is making a lot of noise when i box...metal on metal, jumping around...is that normal?
