Storm&Lighthouse VXA0130 Micro Filter for BT/Talk Talk/Sky Broadband

I had to replace my microfilter in order to get my broadband modem working again and it did the job absolutely fine. Delivery was very quick and the product itself looked to be high quality. Recommend this.

This was a lot more effective than I thought it was going to be. I bought it as a sort of last ditch effort to deal with my feeble wifi myself, before taking the dreaded step of phoning Talk Talk. For some reason, the bigger and more advanced telecommunications companies get, the harder it is to get in touch with them. I think I am traumatised by memories of hours spent navigating dozens of automated options then being put on hold, subjected to horrible twangy-twangy 'music', only to end up in baffling conversation with someone many thousands of miles away, the upshot being them telling me to switch my router off and then switch it back on again. (On average I would already have done this about fifty times before going anywhere near the phone.) But the Wi-Fi was terrible and the kids were moaning about it and I could feel another bout of phoning and subsequent blow to my sanity coming on so I ordered this by doing 'Buy now with one click' because it was nice and easy compared to the alternative and it made me look like I was doing something about it. I was stalling for time and had almost no hope that it would solve the problem but I was wrong about that. The improvement was immediate. Recommended for people with dodgy Wi-Fi who will try anything sooner than have to phone their internet service provider.

My filter got old and worn out. Bought this new one, works a fine.

It does a good job but dont like the way it dangles down on the floor.
