Q: How is the yeast packaged and shipped? Is it kept cool to prevent the yeast from dying in transit? Thanks

While since I bought it, but yes, seem to remember it was packaged well to keep cool.

Q: First time using fresh yeast. How much is equivalent to 7g instant yeast. No instructions on packet! Thanks!

A good rule of thumb is to use double the weight of fresh yeast compared with dried. This is organic so a little slower than fast-acting non-organic. I would use 20g in place of 7g dried.

Q: What’s the ingredients pls

Water and grain-fed yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae). Possible traces of wheat, rye, barley, oat, spelt, durum or hybrid strains

Q: if freezing, what is the best / healthiest / most effective thing(s) to wrap this in please?

Sorry to say I hated it. Bread tasted too yeasty. It didn’t defrost well and I ended up throwing the whole lot away. I have made my own bread by hand (not in a bread machine) for many years, using fresh yeast from the supermarket bakery. But due, of course, to COVID not available. Now using dried yeast and surprisingly delighted with the result.
