AmazonBasics Double Sleeping Bag

My husband and I usually sleep in our own sleeping bags. But this year we decided to try the couples sleeping bag on our family camping trip. We had a thunder and lightning storm during our trip. This kept us warm and cozy and I'm really happy he pushed for this.

Great value purchase and exceeded my expectations. Im 5' 9" and partners 5' 3" both larger bodies and it was spacious enough for us both. Kept us warm inside the bag with blankets and warmer sleeping clothes in 25-30 F at night! I was surprised but pleased with the quality. Very comfortable but a little bulky when packed up.

Time will tell on durability. I only use this for casual camping about 3-4 times a year. If used every day as a blanket for example, I wouldn't expect any long term durability. Its pretty lightweight and the meterials are what you should expect for a sub $50 XL sleep bag. Its got enough filling to keep you warm in most temps aside from maybe winter. The cloth like inner lining is very soft and comfy. The outer meterial is standard poly like most sleeping bags. Not water resistant fyi. The zipper is sufficient but nothing special. Overall I've been happy with it. The extra bulk when car camping is a non factor and the extra size is a game changer for sleeping comfort. I wouldn't take it backpacking but that should be obvious its not designed for that. Good buy. Good price. Make sure you washing it first. It had a chemical smell. Hence the 4 stars not 5.

Nice cozy and warm ...

I like the versatility of this sleeping bag. My husband is 6’3” and I am 5’11”. It was tight sleeping together but we stayed warm. Zipped separate was nice also, especially since one bag is longer than the other. We both were comfortable.

Warm, great price, easy to put away!

I bought this for a recent camping trip. And all I can say is wow! Super impressed by how comfortable and warm we stayed in 45 degree weather with just this sleeping bag. Woke up sweating a couple times and had to come out of it. Only complaint would be is that the zipper may get caught in the seam sometimes. Just be mindful about it when opening and closing.

Ok, so pros: it's warm, spacious, and having a single zipper that goes all the way around is useful, seems durable and efficient as an overall sleeping bag, especially for an adult or larger person, I'm plus size and this was the first sleeping bag I didn't feel was smothering me Cons: this is NOT a queen size bag, it's closer to a twin or full, the texture both inside and outside are not the best, the inside is very rough and scratchy, it's definitely a no for someone with sensitive skin, and the outside is some kind of windbreaker material that is so loud and crinkly that everyone could hear you if you so much as breathe while in it Overall, if you have no problem with textures or sounds, it's a good sleeping bag, but the description saying queen is deceptive and should be corrected

Comfortable, warm, easy to pack and use, with good quality. The size is perfect for a couple, and the price is lower than buying from the shop.

Impeccable ! A recommander !
