After doing a lot of research, everything pointed towards this being the only real solution if you’re looking for a stick that converts into a chair. All the others were clunky, bulky and generally seemed like a compromise. This is a little more expensive, but if you look at it from the point of view that you’re only gonna make this purchase once it’s absolutely worth investing in. I bought it for my mother who has sciatica and finds it difficult to go for walks without needing to stop and rest along the way. She tended to prefer not to take the gamble if she didn’t know they were going to be places to sit down, so this has been a complete game changer for her. The quality of the stick itself is incredibly good, the technology has been well engineered so that when it tucked back up into being just a walking stick, apart from the unit at the top it behaves exactly as a stick Wood and And is not much heavier than an actual aluminium walking stick. I couldn’t recommend this item enough.

Need a little rest every o=now and then and got this for trip to Paris and Normandy beaches. Worked great as expected and will take on upcoming trip to London and Edinburgh. you can’t always find a place to sit when needed. I also use here in hoe town when I am out and about and may need a brief rest. Cane part is almost as good as my regular cane but a bit higher and not adjustable.
