Good for bird bath.
Works good for bird bath. Since this is not battery back up, you lose power at sunset.

Product was obviously used before!!!!!
Just got it. Took out of box . It was as obviously used, mud on the pump and cord, water stains in the tubing,,,,pissed me off. I will see if it actually works tomorrow when itโs sunny, but I paid for a new item!! Rip off! We will see if it works tomorrow!!!!!! Well it didnโt work..am returning it!! Not replacing it, canโt trust what I might get next time. Weird, it arrived 2 days early, wonder if it was someone elseโs return rerouted to my address.๐ค

Battery backup a must
Moves a lot of water. I was concerned that this pump wouldn't have enough vertical lift. It raises the water about 4 feet. I'm happy with the purchase. I added a battery backup and it lasts well into the night, and starts pumping again when light hits the panel in the morning

Does not work in even slightly overcast conditions
Giving two stars because it works well when it is running, but take full direct sun to work at all. The product says it works in overcast conditions - it definitely does not at all.

Would like to have some kind of solar power storage but works great under full sun

Disappointing.
This pump barely pumps water unless the solar panel is in full complete sun. I have another poposoap pump that pumps really well even in full shade. So I really donโt understand why this one is performing so poorly. Very disappointed for a really expensive pump.
