I bought the 3 pack, after I read many reviews , was initially apprehensive because of the reviews that said the taste and smell were terrible. I opened the package expecting to be overwhelmed by an odor that would permeate my home.. not even close. There is a slight odor that smells very much like horseradish, and not terrible at all. I soaked the stick for about 20 min, the bark peeled away easily and the bristles were exposed. I chewed the end as directed and the bristles separated easily . I began brushing each tooth in a circular motion and immediately noticed that each tooth was clean, smooth and immediately whiter . No bad after taste, no broken bristles, no shedding . I’ve used the stick several times a day since because I am blown away by the whitening that seems to go almost a shade whiter with every use. Also the horseradish smell goes away a few minutes after opening the package. It is def not a lingering smell. The only thing that I do daily is trim the bristles back a 1/4” or so because I like a stiff bristle rather than soft and the bristles tend to get soft with every use . I recommend this product to anyone that is interested in a healthcare product that is chemical free, affordable and truly works as advertised. I am very impressed with the results, whiteness, quality and functionality. I wish I could give it 10 stars !

To be honest they smell like dirty cocaine when you first take them out of the package. It freaked me out a bit but I went ahead and soaked it then removed the bark and used it. It actually works great and has no taste at all. My teeth felt very clean.

I’ve only used it once so far. It does STINK but the taste isn’t as bad as it smells. The taste isn’t great but it is tolerable. My teeth feel SO clean. I feel like I can see a difference after one use but maybe it’s just me being hopeful. I will continue to brush normally, as well but I’ll definitely be adding this to my routine. Even if it doesn’t whiten, it’s made my mouth feel very clean. (Pics were taken in exact same lighting, no edits or tweaking. Now sure why the lighting looks so different but I tried)

I read the reviews before purchasing this product, and since some people mentioned receiving moldy sticks, I was a bit skeptical at first. Fortunately, the sticks I received were in perfect condition. The miswak root does have a very distinct taste and smell, but I found it completely tolerable. After using it consistently, I did notice a difference—my teeth appeared noticeably whiter. The results weren't instant or dramatic, but it definitely works over time I also appreciate that this is a very natural product without the harsh chemicals found in many conventional whitening products. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase, and I would definitely reorder if I decide to continue whitening my teeth naturally.

I could never get it soft enough to use it. It tasted very unusual, salty, smelled like dill, pickles, a little bit, not that I was expecting any less. However, the little pieces that break off get stuck in your throat. It’s like chewing a toothpick for too long and having the pieces get stuck in your throat. I have decided against attempting to do this again and will not be re-ordering. So I have one left and it will probably sit in the pantry or linen closet forever.

I saw an ad for this natural toothbrush and, against my better judgment, I fell for it. The algorithm won. Again. I bought it hoping for a dazzling smile, but I can't honestly say it's been life-changing. To be fair, I've only used it about three to four times—not exactly the rigorous scientific study needed to determine if it can whiten your teeth enough to be visible from space. My biggest issue? After a few uses, it started looking... questionable. You know when something is technically clean, but your brain refuses to believe it? That's where we were. Every time I picked it up, I found myself wondering whether I was removing stains or introducing new life forms into my mouth. I also wasn't entirely convinced bacteria weren't setting up a thriving little community on it, so I spent way too much time trying to disinfect it with Listerine and various cleaning rituals. At some point, this toothbrush became higher maintenance than my actual teeth. Overall, it's an interesting product and probably worth trying if you're more motivated and disciplined than I am.
