Very good can scan on for head and also in the ear so little one or older people. Use this all the time around flu time

Product didn't last past one battery change. That or my sick kid has a temp of 95.7. I put in brand new batteries - nope. Still 95.7. I took my own temp. I think I might be a zombie and don't know it because I am certainly dead with a temp so low. This bs is the last thing you need to be dealing with when your child is sick.

Very small and little weight.Perfect for travel but we notice it’s more accurate in ear than forehead.

I bought this so I can keep an eye on my son's temperature. He is on the autism spectrum and has a lot of sensory problems. Using an ear thermometer or holding one in his mouth is out of the question. This is a much better option. I don't even need to touch him to use it. I can also use it in the kitchen since it will check the surface temperature of my cooking.

I received this thermometer just about a month ago and have used it quite a bit because I got sick right after it arrived. The forehead temperature reads quite a bit lower than actual body temperature, as is normal for thermometers, but the in-ear temperature seems spot on and quite consistent. I also figured out that I can aim the laser at the underside of my tongue and get almost exactly the same result as in the ear (usually fractionally lower by 0.1 to 0.2 degrees Fahrenheit), which is really convenient.

Sometimes after taking a measurement it just shuts down and won't turn back on untill the batteries are taken out and placed back. And they're fine I tested them.

The thermometer arrived promptly, but it did not beep when the temperature was read. I contacted customer service online and they apologized and sent me a brand new one. They were very accommodating and supported their product. I now think that perhaps the original thermometer did beep, but it is at such a high pitch that I was unable to hear it. That may be a product of my inability to hear high-pitched. sounds since I am 75 years old.
