Cost is a driving factor for buying over oem
My 2003 honda shadow didnt have a brake lever to start with. Fitment is great, although the sight glass is made of plastic, the chrome finish doesn't look like like it will hold up for a long time. It does the job like its intended. Glass sight glasses are cheap and easy to replace when these plastic sight glasses degrade overtime. The chrome finish can be redone by a professional, or you can strip it and repaint it. An oem brake lever costs over 100 brand new, when you can buy this, use it till you needs replacing, rebuild it, and still come out cheaper and have the same thing.

Very nice quality and finish
This is supposed to be for Japanese bikes, but I bought it for my Triumph Thunderbird since it was a quarter of the price and I could get it in a week rather than waiting a month or more for one to be shipped from England. I am very happy to say that it fit perfectly, works perfectly, and I am riding instead of waiting for the mail :)

This item don’t work true for what I wanted and needed and was easy to install. I am very satisfied with it. It looks great and a great value.
