1) Best feature is how well it kept ice! On a four day trip, having prechilled it for over a day with a block of ice, the day after I got home in hot weather, it still had ice. 2) Wheels are a plus for grandma here so ghat feature is indispensable. They rolled well over pine needle duff and on the small hills. 3) I like the latches to help secure the seal after opening to be sure it is fully closed. They are easy to flip up when accessing the ice chest contents. 4) The drain cap is big enough to easily grasp and remove or replace. It is attached so should not get lost. 5) Cup depressions in the lid can be handy. 6) The drain was secure with no leaks in my car or camp. Now less perfect points: 1) The handles are sturdy but the one you pull the chest with is too short so it is awkward, especially when the chest is full and heavy. 2) I expected the latches to be as secure as they are but don't be fooled into thinking they keep wildlife out. Bears and raccoons are capable robbers! The bears ate our bacon and crepes! 😂 3) The drain is oddly, inconveniently located on the long side rather than the short side. It works but is more of a hassle. Overall this chest is great at storing food on ice, It functions as well as I hoped! It is easy to clean. All of it for this price point is very sturdy, great quality, and with care should last for years.

Really happy with this purchase. Exterior of the cooler is durable, built tough. It's huge. Lack of wheels is not an issue. Caster appliance wheels or rollers work, and the savings is huge vs buying one with wheels.

Restoring my pool patio, needed a place to keep stocked with clean ice and cold drinks. My old cooler was gross, and I kinda wanted the old-skool Coleman retro steel cooler just because of the looks, but they're 4x the price, so went this route instead. Perfect size for what I'm doing. Haven't used it yet, but it'll be in the shade and I expect to dump a bucket of fridge ice per day into it, plus maybe the occasional frozen jug of salt-ice (stays colder, lasts longer). IF a load of ice is expected to have some survivors 2-3 days (and it should), I'll have no trouble keeping it topped off with fresh ice. The trick is to keep it stocked with some cold mass- like a couple sixes of flavored water or whatever. The killer for these is dead air space, keep it full as possible - take up that air space with some bottled waters (thats the whole point anyway). It's plenty rugged enough for my purposes, looks nice and clean, but I think it'd be top-notch for camping/tailgate.

I've owned a ton of igloo coolers over the years and this one might be the best one yet. Heavy duty, but light, durable, insulated well, and the price was right. Thanks again!

Purchased this to replace a slightly larger Coleman. Filled it with ice and beverages for a party on a Saturday at 6 PM and amazingly, 24 hours later, the items left in this cooler were still ice cold! INCREDIBLE PRODUCT

As I examined it, this one is not as well but as the next size up in the Igloo Marine Cooler and one bottom corner was crushed bad. Looks like it was hit with a sledge hammer. I needed to use it for a 2 day fishing trip so I can't return it as it is used. I filled it full of Ice and it melted in 1-1/2 days in our Georgia climate. I only opened to get a a few items. I WILL NOT buy another one like this except for the larger Igloo marine coolers which are adequate for 3-4 day excursion. They aren't rotomolded or injected YETI or RTIC quality but they are much lighter and will do for 3-4 day excursions - just not this size!

It did keep ice frozen for 3-5 days. It was pretty full but everything stayed cold. Worth the money.
