Q: Can this fan be connected to 220 voltage?

I highly doubt it. Connecting 220 to 110 usually overpowers the motor and burns up the motor. If it would connect it would have said so in the instructions.

Q: can this fan be hardwired?

It is a beautiful fan. After purchasing the first one, I have purchased two more. The picture doesn't do the fan justice - it is beautiful. All of these fans have been hardwired and are operated by the light switch on the wall (two of them are on an Alexa switch). With this fan, there are no chains to pull to speed up the fan blades or turn on the light. I turn on the light switch then use the included remote to speed up the fan blades and turn on and off the light. The other option is to leave the light switch on at all times and use the remote to control the lights and blades.

Q: Can it be installed without the down rod?

Hi jennifer dolan, Some customers have tried to install without the down rod it successfully before, but I have never installed it. Thank you！

Q: Can this fan be installed on an angled ceiling?

Virtually all modern ceiling fans can be installed on an angled ceiling, up to around 30°. This fan has the same style of mount commonly found on those. This fan includes two downrods. The shorter one, for an almost flush mount, wouldn’t work on an angle ceiling because the blades would have no clearance on one side. Also keep in mind that if the tips of the blades come within a couple inches of the ceiling, much of the air won’t flow downward, because a significant suction will be created above the blades.
