High quality, healthy food!
My dog has been eating this for years now and itโs literally the only food she has consistently eaten without getting bored. Now if your dogโs digestive system is not used to fresh, raw or freeze dried food you have to transition very slowly so their gut bacteria adapts. But this is high quality food with very little carbs, my dog is happy and healthy. My dog prefers this crumbled and dry without rehydration. I love the fact that Open Farm test every batch for pathogens and you can access the test results online. BIG plus.

A best food for Picky Eaters: Open Farm Freeze Dried Raw Patties
As an Amazon customer, I've always been particular about what goes into my dog's bowl, and finding the right balance of nutrition and taste can be quite a challenge, especially with a picky eater. However, since discovering Open Farm Freeze Dried Raw Patties, particularly the Harvest Chicken Recipe, mealtime has transformed into a joyous experience for both my dog and me. What initially caught my attention was the emphasis on humanely raised meat, non-GMO superfoods, and the absence of artificial flavors or preservatives. These qualities align perfectly with my goal of providing wholesome, natural nutrition to my furry friend. The description mentioned six patties for dinner, but I found a delightful alternative that has worked wonders. Instead of serving the patties whole, I break two patties into small pieces and mix them with half a portion of kibble along with warm water. This simple adjustment has made all the difference. Not only does my dog eagerly anticipate mealtime now, but he also finishes his plate with gusto, something I struggled to achieve before. One of the most noticeable changes has been in his overall health and digestion. His poop is consistently healthy, and I no longer worry about digestive issues or nutrient deficiencies. This peace of mind is invaluable to me as a pet parent. In conclusion, Open Farm Freeze Dried Raw Patties have exceeded my expectations in every aspect. From quality ingredients to improved mealtime experiences and better health for my dog, this product has become a staple in our household. If you have a picky eater or simply want to provide top-notch nutrition, I highly recommend giving these patties a try. Your dog's wagging tail and vibrant health will be the best testament to their effectiveness.

My Dog is a Picky Eater and LOVES This Food
My dog can be picky about his food. With some food he leaves it there all day, or he'll pick out only the bits he likes and then leave the rest. I switched him to grain free diet, and found this brand and he LOVES it!! He will literally lick the bowl clean each time. My biggest problem with this food is that its very expensive. I figured out that one bag only lasts for 10 days. Dog is about 25 pounds and he gets 2 and 1/2 patties mixed with 1/4 C of their kibble 2x per day. It would be nice of they offered a larger size or could lower the price. Not sure if this is sustainable.

Crushed contents
Most of the contents are crushed looking like sawdust. They are supposed to be firm patties. Could this be handled better. Too expensive to be treated like this and ends up being wasted

Broken into dust and not returnable
This product arrived broken into dust. There are no patties to be found. The package did not arrive in a box, but in brown mailer and had been obviously treated as unbreakable. There is no return option. My dog is not interested in dinner dust, we already tried that. He likes the patties from Stella and Chewy (which do allow returns.) I thought I'd try Open Farms because he eats their dog food. Not anymore. If Open Farms can't stand behind their product, I will not be buy their products again.

My dog loves them
My fussy dog loves these, and that makes me happy. A little expensive, but worth the piece of mind I get knowing its good for him.

Open Farm has been a surprising, sensitive-tummy miracle.
As an obsessed parent of a sensitive Yorkie with irritable bowel, it's been a years-long road of research and experimentation to find food that provides high-quality nutrition AND works with her tricky system. Wet food, dry food, Rx food, limited ingredient food, big-name food, boutique food, and even expensive subscription fresh food--we've given it all a chance. On a whim a few months ago, I tried Open Farm. I very carefully and gradually introduced their Small Breed with Ancient Grains kibble, and miraculously, there was zero digestive fallout in our house. In fact, both my Yorkies (even my picky one) LOVED this dry food right away, and in just a few weeks I began noticing impressive changes in both my dogs' energy levels, coat shine, and eye boogering (less). Feeling expansive, I then tried adding a little of these Open Farm freeze-dried raw patties to their meals as well, and surprisingly, my Yorkie's sensitive tummy is still holding and thriving! Both my dogs go CRAZY for these patties crumbled over their food (either dry or rehydrated), and I love the extra nutritional boost and variety it provides. Stools have stayed 100% firm and regular, and my sensitive pup has had zero colitis flareups since transitioning to Open Farm products months ago. And my experiences with the company's customer service have been nothing but helpful, responsive, and positive too. Did we finally find our sensitive tummy miracle? We'll see. But so far Open Farm has been a WONDERFUL and lasting surprise.

Dogs Love It !
Yes, it is a little pricey but you really do get a great product with this. My dog would vomit and have diarrhea from everything I tried to feed her when I first got her, this was the only thing she could tolerate. I credit this food to keeping her alive. She is two now and can eat many other foods so this is her topper and treat. Warning** every dog within smelling distance will be at your heels should you decide to carry some as treats to the dog park ๐๐พ๐พ๐พ๐

Extremely high in fat
These are too high in fat. I appreciate the natural ingredients and the quality, that is there, but these are really high and fat and it's just not good for most dogs to eat. If you have a small dog or a dog prone to pancreatitis, stay far far away
