Heavy Duty Air Compressor Pressure Switch Control 90-125 psi Single Port, 26A Replaces

Rehabbed an old compressor with this. I can vouch for it handling 110 and 220. It was wired for 110 originally and it worked fine. I didn’t like the high amp load on that circuit, so I rewired it for 220 with heavier wire. Now using it with 220 and it works great. I did adjust the pressure a bit. It came set as it’s supposed but I wanted the cutoff pressure a little lower, which was a simple screw adjustment.

Had to adjust pressure setting from 110psi to 125psi. Remove cover screw and turn top left screw to clockwise and test for pressure cutoff setting, Instruction label tag located in cover. This regulator was used on old Sears air compressor with plastic shroud. Has to do slight modification to on-off switch by add 3/16 stainless steel rod with copper cable crimp and braze weld to protrude handle shroud (regulator off-on level handle short).

Worked great as a replacement! Bought to replace a 25 year old one that was dry and brittle

Every compressor I've checked uses 1/4 tubing, plastic or metal, at the unloader connection.The 1/4" tubing on my compressor would not fit through the compression nut or into the body of the unloader on this switch. I returned the switch and received a refund.The box that this switch came in had a broken seal and was slightly damaged.Had someone ordered this switch and returned it with a different unloader?Do compressors in other countries use a different size (metric?) tubing at the unloader?I was disappointed because, otherwise, the switch looked to be a direct replacement for the switch on my Sanborn compressor.UPDATE: I ordered a different brand pressure switch from another vendor on Amazon. The form factor of the second switch was identical to the Huivlei switch that I returned. Different brands sourced from the same factory?BUT, the fitting on the unloader on the second switch was sized for 1/4" tubing. I was able to connect the unloader tubing of my Sanborn compressor to the unloader on the second switch.Huivlei, If an unloader for an air compressor is sized for something other than 1/4" tubing, that information should be part of the product description.
