Doing job as it should.

Promptly delivered by supplier. Performance-wise there is not much you can say about a cleaning tape; it is a proper HP unit, so will do as much - or as little - as any other one that you get. We had had some glitches in backing up (very old-school system!) and although the drive wasn't calling for cleaning, we tried it in the drive, it didn't reject it immediately (as it had our previous, presumably 'expired', cleaning cartridge) and it does seem to have helped.

As expected the cart cleans tapes and it does it well! My only critism is the colour. Perhapes a red or green would of been good.

But we ordered it when a new drive was fitted and decided it doesn't need a cleaning tape as yet. When it does I'll try to remember to update this review.

Good product but delivery a bit protracted

Works great and does exactly what it is suppose to. Easy to load and easy to use. I would totally recommend.

Great value for money. Shipping was fast. Have been using the item for three weeks and works like a charm in our LTO drive.

Drive forces a monthly cleaning and locks out cleaning cartridges after they've been used a certain number of times (at least 50, though I don't keep track). I've used this HP-branded universal LTO cleaning cartridges for two months now with no issues whatsoever, and it says it is good for 50 cleanings, and I see no reason to doubt that claim. As this was the most affordable LTO cleaning cartridge I could find, I was pleased to see that it performs perfectly.

C'est une bande de nettoyage LTO qui fait ce qu'on lui demande, à savoir nettoyer les têtes de lecture. pour répondre à un commentaire négatif sur cette bande : c'est normal que la bande a une durée de vie car pour nettoyer les têtes de lecture, la bande se déroule jusqu'à arriver au bout du "rouleau". pour ma part, j'ai usé une bande LTO comme celle-ci au terme des 3 années d'utilisation en l'utilisant une fois tous les 15 jours.

I had once tried a cleaning tape by Quantum, and it seemed like it did it's process a little faster, but I can't say for sure. But this works fine, and the LTO drive removes the "C" indicator that goes on when it needs a cleaning. When there are file copying errors, the "C" indicator shows cleaning is required, and after cleaning, everything works fine.
