Excellent product and good value for money
Astaxanthin is a very popular supplement that is claimed to be 550 times more effective as an antioxidant than vitamin E, nearly 6,000 times stronger than vitamin C, and 550 times richer as a source of antioxidants than green tea. There are also claims that it helps curb the dreaded cholesterol and triglycerides. However, there are side effects that can be found by searching the internet. Astaxanthin: 19 Known Medical Benefits, Uses, Side Effects & Conditions on Healthcare Weekly is a good source of info. Astaxanthin can interact with blood pressure medication to lower blood pressure and that is one of the reasons why I take it! As I regularly monitor my BP, I do not see it as a problem but an advantage. There are claims that astaxanthin regulates nitric oxide which lowers BP by relaxing the blood vessels but also causes inflammation and pain in joints. This is important as most natural BP lowering supplements or foods such as beetroot lower BP by the production of nitric oxide which has inflammatory side effects.

different interpretation of quantity of Astaxanthin to description
Astaxanthin 8mg - 180 Softgels - note these are not 8mg per capsule (as it implies) but only 4mg/capsule - the 8mg refers to their suggested "serving size" which is wholly arbitary - so one would need to take 2 capsules to get 8mg as their serving suggestion. It should be clearer - capsules are only 4mg and that is what is being sold - an 8mg serving suggestion is just that

Angenehmer Geruch, schön zu schlucken
Meine Familienmitglieder und ich nehmen dieses Produkt und sind sehr zufrieden. Man fühlt sich wohler. Ich nehme es wegen den Augen. Als ich 6 Monate mit Astaxanthin pausiert habe, bemerkte ich wieder, dass ich schlechter sehe. Deshalb nehme ich dieses Produkt und merke eine deutliche Besserung.
