Worth it for intel 13/14th gen users
Works super well, I just hope intel fixes this b.s problem of lopsided cpus but whatever. The thing is a solid chunk of metal that dose it's job well, its easy ass hell to put on, but taking the old parts off feel sketch. Its great for the price though and I really need to buy 2 more

Essential Upgrade for LGA1700 CPUs!
This anti-bending fastener is a must-have for anyone building with Intel's 12th, 13th, or 14th Gen CPUs. Installation was straightforward, thanks to the included L-shaped screwdriver. After installing it on my system, I noticed a significant improvement in thermal performance, with CPU temperatures dropping by up to 12°C under load . The build quality is top-notch, featuring an anodized aluminum alloy that ensures durability and a sleek appearance. Overall, it's a small investment that offers substantial benefits in terms of performance and hardware protection

Excellent Value
This co tactical frame is an excellent value. It reduces the temperature of my overclocked i9-12900k by 10⁰C to 25⁰C depending on the circumstances and workload. For gaming, my 12900k used to run around 60⁰C-70⁰C on the package and now it runs 40⁰C-50⁰C. This gives me a lot more thermal headroom to see if I can push my overclock higher and keep stability.Installation was very quick and easy if yourr an experienced PC builder. If you've never opened up your PC before, you should still be able to handle the installation. GamersNexus has an excellent YouTube video on these products including installation.100% worth the money!

Simple and Effective Upgrade
The Thermalright LGA1700-BCF anti-bending fastener was exactly what I needed to resolve contact issues with my Noctua cooler. Installation was easy, and it fit perfectly without leaving marks or damaging my CPU or motherboard. Whether or not this has any thermal benefits remains to be seen, but that wasn't the intent of my purchase. This fastener improved the contact between the cooler and the CPU, ensuring even pressure and better thermal performance. It’s a simple and effective solution, especially for those experiencing uneven contact on their CPUs.For the price, it’s an excellent investment to enhance cooling and prevent potential bending issues. Highly recommend this for anyone facing similar problems!

Wow! Wow! Wooow!
Wow! I didn't believe that this thing works and will somehow reduce the temperature of my i5-13600kf. I have a super SFF assembly and the processor is in a very tight case for Noctua-L12s. In stock, the temperature rose to 90 degrees Celsius under serious load in the stress test of Aida64. When I installed this bracket and ran the stress test again, I was surprised. At the peak, the temperature dropped by 15 degrees and the entire stress test did not exceed 70 degrees. Then I launched the new Silent Hill 2 and played for half an hour. The temperature was barely 60 degrees. This is simply a must have for all owners of the LGA1700 socket 💪🏼

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED - MUST HAVE - Best thing for Intel "rectangular" CPUs!!!!!
For reference, please search for GamerNexus youtube findings on "Intel bending" heat spreader issue. Basically, due to the standard motherboard CPU retention mechanisms for Intel, the CPU could be "bent" concave slightly such that contact to your CPU cooler, whether air cooled or water cooled, is not optimal. Everything will work fine but you may get higher temps because of this. To rectify this, it was recommended to use a CPU frame like this one. There's a nice more expensive German made brand from Thermal Grizzly. I went with this one because of two things: 1) it's cheaper 2) the install was easier as it doesn't "float" like the Thermal Grizzly. For install, it's kinda fool proof. You re-use the screws from the motherboard's ILM. And you simply screw it down, catty-corner, until the screws stop. The Thermal Grizzly requires precise number of turns, etc. and you could overtighten and bend CPU pins, etc. For this Thermalright, it was pretty dang EASY. BTW, GamerNexus reviewed both Thermal Grizzly and Thermalright CPU frames. Both recommended and he had a hard time finding any cons with this one.As for temps?? Keep in mind I'm air cooled (Noctura DH-15S), not water cooled. I have this on an Intel 13900KF (no overclocking, actually undervolted) - at idle I'm easily at 29-30 C for all P-cores. I've read others with stock setup easily at 38-42 C!! Literally, for the price paid for this it's nearly a dollar per degree C improvement. SO WORTH IT!!! My temps beat some people's water cooled setup. It's crazy. One of the BEST investments you can make if you have an Intel 12th gen, 13th gen, and later gen processor!!!! HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend it!!! You will not regret it!

Solid product and improved temps!
A must for cooling your LGA 1700 chips. Improved cooling due to better contact. So cheap it's a no brainer to purchase one. No worries, installs in couple of minutes. Thanks Thermalright!
