Great hair eraser
Not all of these crystal erasers are created equal. This particular one is much better than my previous crystal erasers. It isn't as rough or sharp. It doesn't hurt or leave a rash. I can quickly scrub away the excess hair that my razor leaves behind. It works well, quickly, and glides smoothly. It doesnt leave any thing behind. As for durable,I've dropped it a few times without it breaking, but I would be careful not to throw it around-tbey can and will shatter. I like the cute pink color and the matte finish so it's not too slippery in my hand. Don't make the mistake I did of wasting money on a cheaper version, they cheap ones are rougher and do not work as well, they leave skin abrasions all over your legs even if you're gentle. Get the better quality this one offers. Your skin will thank you

I am absolutely OBSESSED with this product!! I have seen many ads for these things before and thought they were all BS. My mom ended up getting one so out of curiosity, I tried it. I was hooked instantly! I HATE shaving my legs so I often walked around looking like an caveman with my hairy legs. As soon as I tried hers, I bought mine right away! I now no longer ever have to worry about hairy legs EVER again. I use it every day to every other day and itโs easy, painless, and WORKS. It gets just as close as regular shaving does. I wish Iโd gotten a before and after picture to show the difference but I will upload that later if I allow my hair to grow that long again lol! I have tried it on my armpits and it didnโt work as well. It also doesnโt work that well on my upper thighs unless I really make the skin taught (I have thick thighs lol). I havenโt tried it on my hooha but I am happy with just using it on my legs. Love love love this product and I will continue to buy once it needs replacing! Itโs seriously amazing and like magic. I donโt know how it works or where the hair even goes. I also love how I feel like it exfoliates my legs and I am using lotion more often too. If youโre on the fence, GET IT. You will NOT regret it! This hair eraser is AMAZING! It seriously is a complete game changer for me and helps make my legs feel cleaner, smoother, and more hygienic!

A portion of this was my fault, howeverโฆ.
So full disclosure, I believe on the actual listing, it says that you can use it under your arms, or it shows in the pictures that you can. When I got the box, the instructions CLEARLY said not to use it under your arms, or in any other place that has sensitive skin because it can irritate that skin. I decided to be little Miss โ Iโm going to see for myselfโ and try it anyway. And it did indeed irritate my under arm skin. So donโt do that. With that being said, I feel like the product has a lot of potential, but doesnโt really work. I used it like the instructions told me, too, with the exception of me, trying it under my arms. And it did get the hair off. But not all of it. I had to go over certain sections several times and try to use light pressure so that it wouldnโt scrape off my skin. And when I got out of the shower, I still had blotches of hair that were there. Itโs a great exfoliate and my skin feels great. But as a shaver, I would either just stick to a traditional razor or try something else because unfortunately this ainโt it.

Wow! This thing really works (From a man's perspective)
I am male and have dark hair. I maintain an all over smooth body hair profile. I usually shave, and have success with it, but to keep from getting shaving bumps I use a new razor head every other shaving and I usually shave about every 3 days. That gets expensive with the razors and the shaving oil I use. I ordered the Crystal Hair Eraser with little expectation that it would work. I'll add that I have dry skin and keratosis pilaris on the backs of my legs that usually results in shaving irritation in that area. I used the eraser for the 1st time dry. I was amazed at the amount of dry skin that was removed and the hair just magically came off with it. My legs were completely powdery white looking when I was done. The knees were a little harder to do, but it worked there. When I got to the backs of the legs with the Keratosis pilaris, I was cautious to proceed but it actually removed most of the bumps and all of the hair with no pain. I did my arms, chest, buttoks and all were easy. I showered right after and then followed up with some coconut oil (Majestic Pure Fractionated Coconut Oil - Relaxing Massage Oil). I have never had such healthy looking smooth skin!

An affordable alternative - but at a cost
The short story: It works! This is a nifty little tool that is a great alternative to traditional hair removal, such as waxing and shaving. Low maintenance and simple, which seems to be a rarity these days. At this price point, it's a lot of bang for your buck - especially if the alleged use being up to 3 years rings true. But you do have to ask yourself if you're willing to put in the work (because this thing will ABSOLUTELY make you work), be patient, and spend more time than you would on methods like waxing or shaving. Honestly I liked this product a lot, and ended giving it 4 stars instead of the 3 I thought it deserved initially because practice does in fact lead to improvement. Overall, not a bad investment! The longer, more detailed story: When I say this thing is nifty, I mean it is Nifty. The concept of etched glass to remove hair us fascinating to me, and I wonder why it took so long for me to hear about something like this. I decided to give it a try, and am happy that I did so. Like I said before - it works. But that being said, it certainly isn't for everyone. For starters, this tool takes a lot of energy and time - especially with the first few (or several) uses. It will take longer than shaving and longer than waxing because it takes a lot of work. Which makes sense given the instructions and concept. Small circles over the expansive surface of your legs/arms/chest/whatever you fancy to be smooth takes a while, and when you're figuring just how much pressure to apply so you can remove hair but not remove that top layer of skin... expect to clear your schedule for your first attempt. But if you decide to purchase, chin up. Practice will take you far, I promise! Once you figure out the delicate balance of pressure that works for you, it'll be an enjoyable experience. It does make your skin silky smooth, as it exfoliates and buffs your skin as you go over it. I definitely get to the point where I ask my partner to FeEl HoW SoFt My LeGs ArE. Especially since I am someone who removes the hair on my legs when it suites my fancy - I might go months without removing hair or I can do it weekly (more like every other day with my growth honestly) - it just depends on my mood. So this tool is a great option for me. I can keep it in a dry place and it will be ready when I am - whether that's on a few days or a few months. No need to worry about having a sharp razor at hand or booking and appointment with the talented but also extremely intimidating cerologist at my favorite salon. My hair also likes to grow in ways that leads to ingrowns, which are very uncomfortable and unsightly. In the weeks that I've owned this crystal eraser, I've found that my ingrown hairs have reduced and that my hair even grows in finer in some places. It also comes in less rapidly than when I have shaved and waxed in the past. But while this product has suited my needs, this all leads to my second con - this thing is not the easiest on skin. You will definitely "burn" yourself if you apply to much pressure and the unfortunate fact is that this is so easy to do. All it takes is a few stubborn hairs and a little impatience for you to end up with a patch of scoured skin because you went over the spot more than you should have. If you have a condition that makes your skin thinner, sensitive, and/or makes wounds slower to heal that is something you have to consider before using. I have dry skin, so regular exfoliation is nice for the feel, but on the other hand I have to be very careful not to "burn" myself as I heal very slowly. I have done it twice now and it is NOT a good sensation. And then there is the work that's involved... good grief. A true reminder of the fact that simple does not always mean easy. You are going to need a lot - A LOT - of elbow grease. Thick, coarse, and/or long hair will test your patience. This is true whether you try a wet or dry removal process. Removing the hair when your skin is wet makes it less likely that you will scour yourself, but makes it harder to see the hair removed and get a good grip to make your skin as taunt as possible. Removing the hair when your skin is dry gives you a better look at what you're able to remove, but is pretty messy. You will have a lot of dead skin that doesn't clump as it would in water, leading to a lot of dust. It might look like you were sawing a plank in two rather than smoothing out your legs, I'm going to be honest. And last but not least, a quarrel I have with this tool is that I don't believe that is as versatile as it is marketed as. Obviously hair removal on your legs is a good use for it, that's what my entire review has revolved around. But personally I would not use this on other parts of my body. I don't remove hair on my arms, but with how sensitive my skin is on those limbs of mine I wouldn't risk it. This would likely damage the skin on your chest if you're of the softer variety - think breasts and skin that isn't super taunt in that area. I couldn't speak on using this on my back as I've never even attempted to remove hair from there, but to have someone do so for you seems like an ultimate test of trust. I'd rather do new hire icebreakers! The instructions (though very limited) state and I've seen other reviews say as much - Do NOT use this on thin and sensitive skin like your face. It is way more likely that you will hurt yourself than get that smooth texture you see on social media. I would avoid using this tool on your underarms and genital areas as well. This tool is hard to use on the backs of my thighs because my sensitivity, to use it between them where im even more sensitive? YOUCH! In summary, I liked this tool as it was a great fit for me but I recognize that it is not a miracle worker. It is at a fantastic price point if it's as durable and has the longevity that they claim, but if you're looking for something quick and easy you should look elsewhere.

Just ok
Maybe I used it wrong, but it kinda burned my skin. It did remove hair, but I had to go over a couple of times to get hairs so maybe that's why it didn't work as well. I wanted to love it, but it's not for me. It's a good size, as described, so it would be easy to take to travel.

Amazed! The hype is real!
After seeing this allover Pinterest, I was curious if the hype was real. ๐ค I am now so happy I gave it a try. I arrived today and I instantly wanted to test it. I love it! Do be careful that you figure put the pressure to use. You do not want to rub or use it to roughly. Gentle rotating movements worked for me. Also. I went over a spot again after I noticed it missed some hairs. It left the skin there a bit sensitive. Used it only on my legs and on top of my feet. I love that it also made some minor scars I had (on my knees - from a fall) less noticeable, since it got rid of dead skin cells). When I was done I added a ton of lotion to moisterize the skin repeatedly. I already have very dry skin and it did leave the skin very "dry" looking so... Yes! Very pleased and amazed by the results. The best part? No little dots on my skin (which I do have after shaving) and when I go against the direction of the hair my legs feel super smooth. ๐ My daughter and son tried it as well. And now they want one! Cleaning it was easy as well. I held it under running water and used a nailbrush. Very happy that the hype was real and that I do not have to cut myself or all my shaving cream washes away.

Great for removing leg hair and exfoliating at the same time
I have seen these tools for a few years now, and I have been skeptical, but I decided to give this a try. I used it rubbing in small, gentle circles on my lower legs, and it did actually remove hair, maybe 85-90% of the hair. I did a great job at loosening ingrown hairs, and my legs were very smooth after use. I will caution that anyone with sensitive skin should test a small area before using, and definitely be sure to wash afterward with a gentle soap and immediately apply a very moisturizing body lotion. I tried this in a small area on my arms, and it was definitely too harsh for that, so I will stick to my legs. I find this is a great tool to use before using my IPL machine on my legs. If youโre on the fence, I recommend giving this a try!

Very happy with result
i was very sceptical but this actully works and does an amazing job. Easier to do in the bath rather than shower since it is better when your body has been soaking longer.

Great hair removal product but may be a bit abrasive on sensitive skin
Product functions very well as advertised to remove hair, but because it uses crystals it may be abrasive to sensitive skin areas such as upper legs, inner thighs. If you have dry skin conditions it may leave area feeling mildly scraped and skin irritated. I believe it works better with shaving cream. Over all a decent product.
