Terrible sizing. Now I am stuck with a useless $164 brace.
Unfortunately the pectus carinatum braces from this brand are not sized or designed well. I had asked the seller what size to get for my teenager. The seller wrote back quickly (which is good) and advised us to purchase the adult size (bad advice). The adult size was comically large! My high schooler could not even lower their arms all the way because the brace straps were in the way. I returned the item. Next I bought the "Child" size brace. Even the child size was too large! It still stuck out a bit under the arms, making it uncomfortable for my teenager to lower their arms. My teen is taller than me, so it is very strange that even the child size stuck out a bit too much. Also, the fabric coverings made it difficult for us to adjust the braces using the ratchet latches. I am feeling very, very frustrated because neither brace worked, and I accidentally missed the return window by one day. Now I am stuck with a useless $164 brace -- ARGH!!!! (cost of item + tax) I do not recommend these braces at all. While they are made of durable materials, they are not well designed.
