They’re not the cheapest, but the way they work is brilliant. Great hydration, easy to take while running, and no need to carry a bottle with me. Bought for my 14 yr old granddaughter, who's a keen runner. Takes one prior and one after a race. Helps to maintain hydration during a race and aids in rehydration,after. A good buy and cheaper than the high street. Also contains different flavours.

Convenient and easy to use mid-run. Texture is thinner than most gels, which helps with quick absorption. Flavour variety is good, though some are quite sweet. Low sugar content is a plus.

When i did the Spartan obstacle race a couple of years ago, I really suffered from cramps on my legs. My friend has a couple extra energy gels which I had that helped me recover quickly and complete the race, it was quite effective and kept me hydrated as well. Since it was my first time, the taste wasn't pleasant, but now looking back i see the pack i had was blackcurrent, which isn't my fav flavour. I have now bought a pack of 15 so I can carry these during my trip to the Everest base camp. this pack is value for money and easy to use each of these on the go and of course not to forget it has lots of health benefits too.

I've used these during my marathon training block. They're the only low sugar gel I can find which is great for diabetics, pre diabetics or if you want to avoid spiking your blood sugars, like I do. I agree the gels are thick, but only when they're cold. If you leave them in a warm place, hold in your hand or keep in your back pocket during a long run they warm up and the consistency loosens up making it easier to consume. No stomach issues for me. Apple tastes like baby food out of a jar... Other flavours are decent. Always the option to buy single flavours you prefer. Give them a go!
