I'm not even half way through and I can tell you that this is a great book for art lovers and just plain old lovers. High quality. I would recommend it as a unique gift.

This book is in essence, a love letter to the unique relationships of creativity and artistic exploration. When shown side by side, many artists' symbiotic influences are evident, often reflected in the art. The book doesn't sugar coat, as many relationships are clearly unorthodox and conflicted as well as complicated, but it doesn't pass judgement. Many well know couples are feature (Kahlo and Rivera) but others new to me were equally of interest (Tom Doyle and Eva Hess). A great addition to any art lover's library!
