What makes 154CM different from the steel in most tactical folders?

Most look-alike folders use soft budget steels that dull fast. 154CM is an American-made Crucible alloy hardened to HRC 61, the same class of steel in premium production knives. It holds an edge far longer and sharpens easily on standard stones.

How does the blade open?

It is a fully manual folding knife. A precision detent holds the blade closed, and you open it deliberately with the flipper tab riding on caged ceramic bearings. Smooth, snappy, and satisfying.

Can I carry it left-handed?

Yes. The deep-carry clip is reversible for left or right side carry, and an included G10 filler tab keeps the unused side clean and flush.

Is the tanto blade practical for everyday tasks?

Very. The tanto profile gives a reinforced tip for tough piercing work plus a long flat edge for clean slicing - boxes, rope, food prep at camp, and daily cutting chores.

What comes in the box?

Your Viper V2, extra pocket clip and T6 screws, a product registration card, and protective packaging. Off-Grid is a family-owned American business - when you register your knife, you deal with real people who use these knives themselves.
