I bought the Micro Ingredients Organic Inulin FOS Fiber Powder mainly to add to my homemade yogurt, and it has worked out really well. The powder is very fine and dissolves quickly. I usually mix it into warm milk before culturing or stir it into finished yogurt, and it blends in smoothly without clumping. It doesn’t leave any gritty texture, which was something I was worried about at first. Taste wise it’s very mild. There’s a slight natural sweetness, but nothing overpowering. In yogurt it actually improves the texture a bit and makes it a little creamier. I like knowing I’m adding prebiotic fiber without changing the flavor of what I’m making. The bag is large and feels like a good value for the amount you get. Since I only use a spoonful at a time, it’s going to last quite a while. I also appreciate that it’s organic and vegan friendly with no unnecessary additives.
