Underrated 4k portable monitor
This is a great deal on this 4K monitor - it's even cheaper than many 2K models. For my engineering work and diagrams, I need a monitor that's bright and pin-sharp, as there are a lot of fine details to consider. This one delivers. The monitor arrived swiftly from Amazon, just a day after ordering. I've been using it on the go with my MacBook Air M3, and it's been good to go right out of the box. The image is super sharp, brighter than some regular panels I've used, and the colors are great. It gets all its power from the MacBook; I haven't used any external power with it. The display is super light. If you take it out of the included cover/stand, it's surprisingly light. I'm thrilled with this purchase - the price is a steal. The 4K screen appears to be of good quality, and everything else is standard packaging from any vendor, including an assortment of cables and so on. I have a hunch that there are only one or two companies in China that manufacture these products for all these sellers, as the packaging is identical no matter who you buy from or which model you choose. I'm just a regular dude who buys stuff on Amazon - I didn't get any special deal or discount. But, like most of you, I spend a ton of time reading through all the reviews on products, trying to glean some insight or catch a gotcha. All of these monitor panels are similar - it's just the inside display that varies. This particular model offers great performance at 4K resolution, all at a fantastic price.

Great product and great customer service
Great product and great customer service. The panel is sharp and works with mac, windows and linux. Both usb and HDMI work well too. One has to be careful with the usb as not all usb-c ports work. On my mac-mini, only the rear usb-c work as they're thunderbolt capable. The fronts are not. On my PC, only one of the usb-c ports work as it's the only thunderbolt capable port. My unit shipped with a bad usb cable (out of two) and customer service was quick to credit the cost of a new one. Couldn't be happier. The only other nit is that custom settings, like brightness, are not saved between power cycles. It's quick to set but I wish it was stored.

Great monitor. 4K HD, magnetic cover, cables. Great value.
I bought this to go with a Mac Mini M4 since Apple's monitors are so costly. This low-cost 4K HD monitor is very good: light in weight, but has really good definition and color. It comes with a magnetic cover, two USB-C Thunderbolt-capable cables for both audio and video, and an HDMI cable which was unnecessary since the USB-C cables work perfectly fine for video and sound. The monitor has a small speaker on each side, but these are unnecessary for my use and likely inadequate since the Mac mini has a built-in speaker. The controls on the left side of the monitor are a bit confusing when trying to use them, so I used paint pens to color their tips from top to bottom: white (power), gold (menu/select), green (up), red (down), purple (return). The cover can likely be used as a stand (I didn't test that), however I bought a folding aluminum stand to raise the monitor above desk level and it also serves to hold the Mac Mini between its two legs.

Awesome display for traveling.
I use it with Mac 16" m1 max for streaming/ live presentation during travel as multiple windows at same time. OBS, Keynote, Zoom and audio interface and extra resource window. Works great so great that actually added a second one after the first purchase. So I now have 3 screens and iPad Pro as forth. Now I also use ipad to mirror screen for zoom when my wife do presentations When I do the presentation I pad is used as whiteboard so I can do live illustrations/notes as cam directly from iPad to obs. Ok product review: * Find it very light, great for travel. * Case / stand: very light and works great but it feels little flimsy and only have one position to choose from. I as another user points out it feels the case will not last that long. Time will Tell. I pulled one star for this. *Resolution is slight better than my Mac so you will not have any compromise there. * Colors can not beat the Mac but displays very well. But what I do like better is that It has more like matte finish so you will by far, not get the same glare from reflection compared to the Mac. * The monitor enclosure give feel been cheap and "plasticky" but at same time feels it is not gonna be any issue. Great due its light weight. *Physical size almost identical to my Mac 16 in all directions (H W L) *Powers through Mac usb c port no extra power needed. Comes with power (just regular usbc power supply) supply if you need use hdmi cable instead or connect it no powered bus like iPhone or iPad. Final Note: I original bought 2.5 K screen for 100 USD and then found this one so returned it before even open it. and got one of this for double price. I loved it some much actually when ahead bought my second few days later. Great buy for 200 use price range. One picture show 4k video one one display (not sure if iโpic give any justice) and other my setup with two the two extra screens.

Great little monitor
Fantastic little monitor for the price. I use as a primary display with my notebook when Iโm traveling. The best part is that I donโt need power supply, it runs great hooked up the notebook. One cable only.

NOT A 4K MONITOR. It is 3K, 3072x1920 with POOR downscaling.
This is a review of the MAGICRAVEN 16" 4K Portable Monitor. The listing for this monitor claims a resolution of 4K, 3840x2400 pixels. That is a bald-faced LIE. It is actually a 3072x1920 panel with poor-quality interpolated downscaling. It would seem that the manufacturer is counting on nobody actually looking closely at the pixels, but it is unmistakably NOT a 4K monitor. I can only assume they really wanted to call it a 4K monitor, because they presumed that "3K monitor" doesn't sound like something that will sell. The monitor itself continues to lie to your computer, reporting itself as a 4K, 3840x2400 display. Because of this, your computer sends it a 3840x2400 image, which the monitor then downscales (using a poor interpolation engine straight from the 1990's) to the panel's native resolution of 3072x1920. I have attached two photos. The first is a close-up shot of a small area of my MacBook Pro's screen, showing part of an image (of an emulated 1980's Mac screen) at 1:1 resolution (that is, one pixel of the image is one pixel on the screen). Although the photo shows an area of the screen about 1.5" wide, you can see despite the extreme close-up that the pixels are all clear and precise. The second photo is of the MAGICRAVEN 16" so-called 4K monitor, attempting to show the same image, again with one image pixel per screen pixel -- at least what the display is reporting as screen pixels. You can see that the pixels are interpolated and distorted. Pairs of black and white pixels are smeared together to create moire patterns, an unmistakeable fingerprint of interpolation. The image is blurred and the text is very difficult to read, even under magnification like this. You can see from the checkerboard pattern background and the "c" and "e" letters at the left side that very 5 pixels of the image are interpolated onto 4 pixels of the panel. This shows that the true panel resolution is 4/5 of 3840x2400, which is 3072x1920, a less common but standard panel size. The especially sad thing about this is that it could have been a nice display. While it's nowhere near the quality of the MacBook Pro screen, at 3K 3072x1920 resolution it has the same actual physical pixel density as the 16" MacBook Pro's 226ppi "Retina" screen, and at the 16" size, 3K is a much more practical resolution. If this display had been programmed to honestly report its panel's resolution, I probably would have been thrilled with it. I was looking for a display with about 226dpi and couldn't find one, settling on this MAGICRAVEN display instead, with its claimed 283ppi instead (matching pixel density means text and images on one screen match those of the other screen). It even has a VESA mount, not always present on these "portable" displays. But even its use as a 3K display is ruined by their deception. Because the monitor reports its native resolution as 3840x2400 -- and does NOT report that it is capable of 3072x1920 -- any image it is sent gets interpolated, resulting in blurred text and distorted, smeared fine detail in images. This display at the best settings I could come up with is still considerably more blurry than a similar 2K portable display I have which cost far less. I'm returning this monitor.

Outstanding Rare 3840 x 2400 2ndary Monitor Design
This is an affordable and CLASSIC 16:10 Ratio Secondary Laptop Screen Monitor such that I had a Quad Monitor Setup with this monitor on my Asus Pro Art Creator Series Laptop. It is a very rare 3840 x 2400 resolution and is an excellent buy for graphics screen intensive data viewing. But be careful, this is a delicate monitor and its buttons "go" in time. But being very inexpensive, when this product breaks it's a very great inexpensive buy to purchase it again, because it is a classic beautiful product design. It outclasses many other secondary monitors in its features.

The screen is large and the display is very clear. Itโs also very lightweight, making it easy to carry during business trips. Highly recommended.
