Amazon Essentials Men's Athletic Basketball Gym Shorts, Breathable Moisture Wicking, Loose-Fit Performance Tech, Pack of 2

These shorts are amazing! I have always had sensitive skin and worn all natural cotton fabrics. Recently I began picking up strong fragrances on my cotton clothes that would not wash out when getting physical therapy. Looking for a material that does not readily absorb odors I opted for these shirts and shorts. All I can say is, wow! 1. They are so light and comfortable it's almost like wearing nothing. 2. They are cool to wear. I am in a hot and muggy climate and felt immeasurably cooler going out in these than if I'd worn my cotton shirt and shorts. 3. They are stretchy so they don't choke you when sitting or squatting. 4. It lays/hangs really nice when it's on. The waist band is not choking tight like other shorts and it has nice long drawstrings. 5. The colors are great. I got the black this time, but plan to get other colors. 6. They washed with ease and, yay, they can be tumble dried. 7. There are two pockets that are nice and deep that you'd barely know are there... not bulky. 8. The prices is good too! I'll be buying more! Great for the gym, physical therapy, walking, running errands, and casual wear.

Incredible value at $8 for 2 pair. These are really nice! I'm absolutely enthusiastic about this purchase, which doesn't happen often, as I'm very picky and demand quality. I especially like the camo pattern and wish they'd offer more patterns. The material is very comfortable. Feels much better on the skin than ordinary cotton. They actually hang nice, not like cotton shorts but depending on you like an old dish rag. They're not too big and they're not too small. They use just the right amount of material. I really hope they continue to produce these and sell them on Amazon. I'd be totally happy buying these for the rest of my life. They really are the best leisure shorts I've ever purchased. Also, the most affordable. You can't beat that! 😊 I've already ordered another 2 pack, and will order more within the next week or two. Extremely happy with this purchase!

Very much like these shorts for the price. Comfortable for workout and casual wearing. No rear pocket but can be overlooked for the value. Received two new ones for a Xmas gift and the sizing has changed. The new shorts in XL have a wider waistline. I usually buy XL for the length so this is a bit of a problem because the extra couple waist inches now make a big difference in being too loose around the waist. Were perfect before for me at 6'1" 160 lbs. For someone with a larger waistline, the new cut may be better. I will try the L next time I buy. The photo shows the old XL in black on top of the new XL in Green. (both new pair were the new larger XL dimensions)

I bought a few pairs of these shorts years ago and they’ve held up surprisingly well. They’re finally starting to fray a bit around the waistband, so I picked up a couple more just in case. The new ones are just as comfortable as my old pairs, and the length is perfect, they sit right above the knee for me at 5'7". The pockets are deep enough to hold a large phone and whatever else I need to carry. On my older pairs I have to use the drawstrings now after years of washing, but the new shorts stay up without needing to tie them. For the price, I really can’t complain. They’re comfortable, durable, and a great everyday pair of shorts. They are stretchy if you're in between sizes, just not they are not thick they are more on the thin side.

Excellent value. Nice fabric and details. Great pricing. For the purposes of this review, I'm going to compare these shorts Amazon Essentials (size XL) to my old faithful Reebok poly/mesh oversize L from 2018 (RN117927) That have lasted more than 8 years. My only recommendation is to recognize that today's "loose fit" is pretty true to size for today's shrinking sizes. Exactly one size smaller that the normally oversized American cuts from a decade ago. These are a very comfy bargain. Fabric type: and quality is almost identical. Amazon is slightly lighter in weight. Both soft poly/mesh with smooth interior. Sizing: Oversize Reebok L is identical to Amazon XL. Interior Waistband thickness: is 1/4" wider on the Reebok (Amazon 1/4" thinner) Not bad at all. Interior pockets: are identical. Interior drawstrings: Amazon are wider and contrasting color to find and tie more easily! Length and width: Identical. Price: Amazon Essentials are priced about 50% less for a nearly identical product.

These Amazon Essentials Performance Tech Shorts have quickly become my husband's favorite. He says the relaxed fit is roomy without being baggy, and the material feels soft and comfortable on his skin. - The waistband is stretchy, and the drawstring adds a secure fit that stays in place, even during intense workouts. - The fabric is lightweight, breathable, and dries quickly, which keeps him cool whether he’s working out or just relaxing here at the house. - He really likes the soft honeycomb texture and the bit of stretch, it offers great flexibility without clinging. I got him the X-Large (Waist: 40.5–42.5", Hips: 45–46.8") in Grey/Navy. - For reference, he’s 6 feet tall, has a 41-inch waist, and weighs around 215 lbs. They fit him perfectly. Great quality for the price. I’ll definitely be ordering more pairs for him!

These are very nice looking shorts and fit great. However, they are VERY fragile. I have had these less than 24 hours and already am experiencing pilling of the fabric. Was it my cat's claws? Was it from bumping into something? I have no idea, but have never experienced shorts already demonstrating this kind of behavior so quickly.

Great loose fit, decent quality that's somewhat breathable. If you prefer shorts with a bit of slack, I would recommend these.

Perfect size, I am pretty big guy and usually need XL but alot of XL are so small. These arent, perfect size for XL. Soft and nice to wear also! Thin!

Excellent value for money when you get two pairs of shorts at a great price. Great for casual wear. My hubby wears them to work. He says they’re extremely comfortable and a great fit. He bought the size he normally would and they fit perfectly
