OX Speedskim Plaster Skimming Finishing Rule - SF 600mm I Stainless Steel Flex Blade & Extruded Aluminium Handle

Excellent bit of kit. Wished I brought this sooner. I'd seen many clips online of people using this rule I used to think ohh what a gimmick. Not until I had some plastering carried out by a new plasterer and the quality of work was awful and was left with no choice to salvage what was there and using this with easy fill was a breeze. I will try to use roll on plaster next as this tool gives you the confidence to get straight finishes

This product is so simple but gets great results with very little practice. After putting the plaster on the walls with your usual trowel just be quick and use this to smooth things out. Avoid letting the plaster to go off too quick or you will end up making a mess with this tool by dragging the plaster. Anyone can use this to get great results very quickly. I chose the smaller 450mm size as this is ideal for my needs. If you have a large area to plaster I would suggest getting a longer one and a short one.

Hasn’t made me a plastering god but does make things much quicker and easier, good product and great price via Amazon when on offer.

I'm a DIYer and had a wall approximately 7m long to plaster. The wall was in relatively good condition but had wallpaper removed and needed a little TLC. I've done a little plastering before, so I know how hard it can be for us that are not PRO's. The wall tends to look worse the more plastering we do, so I decided to give this a go, with a noting to loose view of it. This is just about the right size for my skillset, (600mm version), and where I would usually end up with tramlines everywhere, because this spreads the load across a wider area, it just seems to work if you take your time. It won't make you a PRO, and hats off to the skill behind being a good plasterer, but I've now done a bathroom ceiling and wall prep for tiling, and this is a DIY gamechanger.

Pour les ratissage c'est tout simplement parfait. Du coup je vais commander une bonne partie des tailles disponibles. Don't buy it. All inventory is damaged. The steel edge is bent always which renders the item useless. I returned 2 damaged items, they will restock them and send the same damaged item to you.
