La lente tiene muy buena construcción y se siente muy robusta a pesar de no ser toda de metal (tiene varias partes plásticas). A f1.4 la imagen es ligeramente suave, lo cual era de esperarse y al pasar a f2 la mejoría en la nitidez es bastante buena. Al llegar a f5.6 es notablemente nítida, lo cual se mantiene hasta f8 y f11. A f16 se nota un poco la caída en nitidez. En general estoy muy complacido con la calidad de la lente, excepto en las tapas y el parasol, los cuales se sienten de un plástico sumamente barato. El ajuste del parasol es muy malo, no ajusta de manera firme y se siente algo flojo. Esto no afecta como tal la calidad de la lente, por lo que mejor opté por ponerle un parasol metálico que se ajusta por medio de la rosca para filtros. Debido a que lo mas importante es la lente y la calidad de imagen, le he dado 5 estrellas a pesar de la mala calidad de los accesorios que vienen con ella.

What can I say....this lens is just so FUN. Not as sharp as a legit Fuji, but....MAN that depth of feild is 3D fun. Every time I switch out for a different lens, this one makes it back on deck in minutes. Did I mention this lens is fun?

This is an awesome lens. Good bokeh, sharp images and wonderful built quality. The aperture ring is sturdy but smooth, focusing is easy, and the images are superb even when wide open.
