Anyone know what the difference between 7783/63 and 7788/55

Hi It is the serial name/ID . Depending on what you purchase. It’s like buying a car. Basic/ High end. More you pay/ more you get👍

Does anyone else find that this makes a low whirring sound, as if it's underpowered or struggling? It works fine, just sounds off.

Mine is the same , sounds underpowered but gets the job done so I assumed that's how it's supposed to be .

Do you get the charging station with this model ?

1 charging stand is included. Package included: 1 Series 7000 Wet and Dry Electric Shaver, 1 integrated pop-up trimmer, 1 Quick Clean Pod and 4 cartridges, 1 Travel case, and 1 Charging stand.

Do I have to use the provided cleaning fluid or will water do?

Hey there, Thank you for your message. By using the exclusive Quick Clean Pod hygienic formula combined with a multi-grid filter you eliminate cut hair effectively, since by using the pod you leave your shaver 10 times cleaner versus using water alone. Each Philips cleaning cartridge is effective for about 30 cleaning cycles with daily usage and up to three months with weekly usage. That's an entire season's worth of clean, hygienic shaving.
