Awesome battery, good company
I love this battery it was well packaged and looks great. The battery meter is a big plus. You do have to hit it a few times to get the correct persentage. I tested the battery and it was correct to it's 100AH rating. This is my third battery and I did like the first one the best with the built in handles instead of a strap. The price point is very competitive and is seems like lithium prices are lowing across the whole industry with more production. Spend the extra money forget replacing lead acid battery every 2-3 years. Also the option for a free charger is nice and it works well.

An excellent value and low temperature charging protection actually works!
I purchased two of these 100Ah batteries and put them to the test, they passed the low temp charge protection and met their 100Ah capacity claim. This is the first sub $280 priced battery I've found that has met both of these criteria. The BMS also passed all of the high/low voltage and charge/discharge current specs as well. It's a slightly smaller form factor, measuring about an inch narrower that typical 100Ah cases, but it's not as small as some of the new mini batteries out there. Still, an inch can make a difference in fitment. The built in handles fit completely flush when not in use, nice touch. I would not trust the capacity meter for accurate battery levels. It's just a voltmeter and can't reliably estimate state of charge like a shunt monitor can. They could save a buck and just ditch this feature altogether. One of the batteries did come loose and was moving around inside of the box, probably due to rough handling during transport (fedex). But they quickly responded with tracking for the replacement and a pre-paid return label, so A+ for customer service. In my conversations with the representative, I asked about the warranty period, as the description only states cycle counts. They responded that their batteries have a 10 year warranty and that they will update the description to reflect this shortly. Shipping from their warehouse in Texas was pretty fast to California, too. These are being used as a RV house batteries. Time will tell for longevity, but I'm confident enough to recommend the product to fellow campers.

DO NOT BUY A NEWTIPOWER BATTERY
DO NOT BUY FROM NEWTIPOWER!!!Almost 2 years ago to the day, I purchased a Newtipower 12V 100Ah battery for my small sailboat. The battery powered a 55 lb thrust trolling motor. Newtipower states that this battery comes with a 10-year warranty. I kept the battery charged with a 100 watt panel and a Victron MPPT 75/15 SmartSolar controller. This panel and controller are functioning perfectly, as they have for the past two years. Two weeks ago the battery stopped operating. The battery's LCD readout showed 13.2 volts and an 88% charge. A multimeter, however, showed 12.89 volts, indicating a 30% - 40% charge.I lifted the battery to put it on a charger, and found that the battery case had cracked open on the bottom. The battery's thermal gel had turned to a sticky black tarlike substance and had leaked into the battery tray which was fiberglassed into the boat hull. I had to cut out the battery tray, and must purchase both a new tray and a fiberglass repair kit in order to reattach the tray to the boat hull. The battery was not subjected to impact or extreme temperatures, and all charging was controlled by the Victron unit.I contacted Newtipower. The company asked for photos of the battery's readout screen as well as a multimeter readout. I provided both, along with a photo of the cracked case. After answering the company's questions and providing photos, I was told that a short circuit in the battery had occurred.I was given three options:1. Wait until the same battery is back in stock, in "about a month", and ask at that time to have a replacement shipped to me for "several dozens of dollars" in shipping costs to me.2. Purchase a different battery and pay the difference.3. Obtain a refund for 30% of the cost of the battery. This battery burst. The battery suffered a short circuit. The BMS did not function properly. The LCD readout data was incorrect. 80% of the battery's warranty was still unused. My boat was damaged. A lithium iron phosphate battery with a cracked case creates a very real risk of damage and injury, especially on a boat.Newtipower refused to offer any solution that did not involve cost to me. I have lost trust in their products, and I am deeply disappointed in their refusal to accept full responsibility for a defective product.I learned my lesson and urge anyone reading this to buy elsewhere. There are PLENTY of other battery companies out there.I'm sure Newtipower didn't intend to sell a defective and dangerous battery. This is a reminder, however, that you aren't just buying a product, you're also paying for a company's integrity and willingness to take responsibility for the quality and safety of their products.Newtipower is not that company.

Great budget LiFePO4 battery
We recently traded in our old camper trailer for a bigger used one and I've been spending my summer getting it ready for spending the winter months in Florida. My budget is kind of tight on it, so I've been doing a lot of serious research making sure I don't waste any of it.The camper has a residential 120vac refrigerator, which I want to keep running during my 14 hour travel to Florida (and a potential overnight stay). I replaced the one 64ah lead acid battery with two of these 100ah batteries and they fit the bill perfectly. I really wanted ones that have Bluetooth built in so I can monitor each battery individually, but these have a built in (albeit, manual) monitor which works for me with a significant cost savings.By my math, I should be able to run the refrigerator for at least 20 hours. I have not been able to verify this as, once I hooked them up, I found my inverter was bad. Weather permitting, I should be doing that job this weekend.

Missing Capacity/Voltage Meter
I've purchased 5 of the 12 volt, 100 amp batteries in the last year. I was pleased with the first 3 batteries, but the last 2 that I ordered earlier this month do not have Battery Capacity/Voltage meters. The manual does point out that the meters are not perfectly accurate, but their absence is still surprising and disappointing. Even as an approximate reference, the built in meters were quick and convenient. They do offer a phone app that will provide the info, but I don't want to overload my phone with anymore apps and it is not helpful if others need to occasionally check battery status. I will order 2 similar external meters to meet my needs.

My Batt Gets Used!
I've been using one of these for over a year. I have it charging with two solar panels. When necessary, I flip my dc/dc charger. The batt runs my diesel heater, laptop, fridge, interior lighting, charges my cameras/drones, phone, and other items. I've been completely satisfied.~ Jason Fazio Photography

So far so good
There are two different types from Newtipower 100AH LiFePo4 batteries. It seems they redesigned the case & terminals. They also changed the carrying handles to straps. I like the straps better.I've used a single 100ah battery with a 1500w inverter for power for saws at my job site & for power outages. It has worked good for the few months owned. I have charged it with both a lithium battery charger & a MPPT solar charge controller. They work goodI bought 2 more & use it with my RV camper. It powered 4 days of gloomy deer hunting off grid with only using 12v applications & no inverter with no problems. I need to wire a inverter & a new RV lithium battery charger into my camper. 200 watts of solar kept the batteries at 13.2v or above during gloomy & rainy Michigan October weather. The fridge, furnace, radio & 12v LED lights were used.Overall they seem to work fine for me.It's almost March of 2024 and I have made a DIY mobile power unit with the battery from one of Harbor Freight's tool boxes. What a great battery so far.

Taller than listed
The 100AH is over 9" tall even without the terminals screwed in, not the 8.3" shown in the image. I ordered two based on that measurement and can't use them now.
