WARNING!! I thought I had done enough reading and research about the ingredients here. I plugged the whole list in and looked for adverse reactions with my current blood pressure meds and all looked good. However, the very first day taking this I had an adverse reaction so started researching 2 ingredients at a time against each other and what I found for the combo of L-tryptophan and 5-htp was exactly what I experienced, minus the seizures. “Taking both supplements simultaneously can dramatically increase serotonin levels, which may lead to Serotonin Syndrome, a potentially serious condition characterized by agitation, rapid heart rate, high blood pressure, and in severe cases, seizures” I do not know why that didn’t come up when the entire list of ingredients were plugged in, but this is a warning to anyone who might be like me! If there’s going to be a side-effect, I’m always in the small group to experience it. I ended up in a full blown panic attack because of the rapid heart rate and bp spiking. The company should note this adverse reaction is possible and I’m very, very disappointed in this brand who I’ve used multiple timea before and trusted, but never again. That was scary!
