I, like many, have tried many supplements looking for something outside of the pharmaceutical prescribed. Crap that doctors try to give you. I have, for too many years, suffered from bouts of insomnia and feeling little to no emotions about anything or anyone. Which was me.So, as I started reading and watching videos from world, renowned doctors, I realized that I wasn’t alone, and that most people that suffer from this, depression, and anxiety generally are deficient in vitamins/minerals. Which causes your entire body to react. Your transmitters and receptors in your brain cant produce enough GABA, and therefore serotonin and dopamine. Which causes depression and anxiety. Unfortunately, the medical industry has been trained to go straight to the pharmacy without truly understanding what is happening inside of their patients body and mind. They just use the pharmaceuticals as in all in one solution. Not realizing that they could easily talk to their patients about these deficiencies and try different vitamins and minerals to see if that first doesn’t help them.Then it becomes very difficult for those patients to get off of the SSRIs that are prescribed. Luckily, I never went that route. I just dealt with it, unhappily, though. That was. Until I started studying the cause-and-effect of different chemicals in your body and brain. Then, what best to try to supplement these things to see if that is the case. Doctors can’t have lab work done to check for these deficiencies, but many of them don’t, and just pull out the prescription pad. Which combines lithium orotate with essentially a lactic acid that helps it cross the blood brain barrier easily. So, what did this supplement do for me? I tried 5 mg to start and about an hour afterwards I felt a bit more relaxed. Not a lot, but a difference. I tried 5 mg a few times a day, and it helped make me a little more cheerier. I tried 10 mg about a week after the first dose and noticed that the feeling was stronger. Making me understand that I was obviously deficient of lithium in my body, and it was causing a lot of the issues. The worst of which was feeling nothing. Which I started to look around and see a little bit of beauty in the things around me again.Now this stuff is supposedly somethings that builds up in your system, overtime and depending on how deficient your body is in making it itself, it can take more or less of a dose every day. I recommend to my friends that they start with 5 mg and if after a week they don’t feel any different… Then they try 10 mg and wait another week after taking it every day and see how they feel and so forth until they find the dosage that works for them. It is sad by many experts, that it can take 1 to 3 weeks for the full effects to take.. so if it doesn’t work right away, give it some time.Overall, I am so overjoyed that I finally found a deficiency in my body. Without having to resort to pharmaceutical poison that has way too many side effects. Not to mention it’s hell to get off of. And luckily, I never went down that road. Even though I thought about it many times. I want people who feel dead inside to live again. If you go on YouTube, you will find many videos talking about lithium oritate. Study up and see if it may be right for you and try it. I use this product to help control my anxiety. It works very well and quickly. Its not something that you have to build up in your system, however, I do take it everyday. I notice a huge difference in my anxiety and especially in my sleep. I sleep so much better since I started this product. I fall asleep faster and stay asleep!

It’s hard to review. I take this because a study says low doses of lithium prevents Alzheimer’s. I have no way of knowing it works, but I figure a small dose like this can’t hurt. This is not medical advice!

Do not buy this product. On Amazon they claim to be selling Lithium Orotate. Only when you get the bottle do you see that you are getting a combination of Lithium Orotate and Lithium Carbonate. And there's no information on how much is carbonate, so it could be 90% Lithium Carbonate. This is not just deceptive advertising, there's a real difference I can feel in taking Orotate versus Carbonate. Amazon should at least make the Vender reveal what they are selling. My advice is never buy from KAL.

First I give three stars as it was delivered on time and product was exactly as described. The capsules are fairly small, easy to swallow, and noticed no offensive odor. I just think I had a placebo effect at best.I'm in the middle of week 2 taking these....Started with 5 mg and worked up to 20 (four capsules per day) I really haven't noticed anything different regarding my moods, compared to other supplements I've taken in the past.I realize it is hard to quantify how well these kinds of products work as everyone 's biochemistry is so different, but from what I've heard Lithium Orotate is more helpful for people with bipolar disorder - which I do not have. I did hear that it was good for relieving depression, which I do suffer from, although it's more along the lines of the "seasonal blahs" than anything else.So take from that what you will. I will continue with what's left of my supply, but I will probably switch back to st John's wort or kanna. Best of luck and hope this helps!
