What is the difference between this and the one for cancer? Are both baskcally the same thing? Thank you.

For pets with cancer, we would generally recommend two products: Mushroom Immune Gold and Life Gold. Mushroom Immune Gold helps to target cancer cells to help mitigate the progression of the condition as well as slow the growth of tumors, while Life Gold supports your pet in terms of the associated symptoms of cancer, such as poor appetite, low energy or depression, and elimination challenges; they do work best when used in tandem, though they may be used independently, as well.

Its worth noting that there are a couple of supplements which we offer for pets who have cancer, however not all are compatible with steroids or immuno-suppressants.

If you are intending to continue using the steroids as part of your pet's regimen, the best recommendations which we could make would be for our Detox Gold and our SPARK supplement. The former is essentially our previous Life Gold formula, which had been subject to a formulation change based on feedback from our Board of Advisers. Since we have had a lot of success with the 'old' blend, we did not want to discontinue it, so it was rebranded as Detox Gold. Both Detox Gold and Life Gold contain five of the same ingredients (Blessed Thistle, Burdock, Sheep Sorrel, Slippery Elm, Ginger), so they are quite similar, though Life Gold is not recommended for use with steroids while Detox Gold is not subject to the same cautionary warning. SPARK is a nutritional supplement which compliments any diet. If you would like more information on that item, please let me know!

If you are seeking a treatment plan that no longer relies on steroid use, then the Life Gold will be safe for your pet to use, however the best suggestion we could make would actually be for the Mushroom Immune Gold, which you may or may not have seen on our site already.

Will this work for my dog who has mast cell tumor?

There are certain protocols for dogs that have tumors.  I would check with a holistic veterinarian. That being said anything that promotes detoxification and  immune support is a good supplement to have on hand - in my humble opinion.  Pet Wellbeing has customer support staff that will also assist you with your question.  They have helped me in the past with my questions.  Not sure if that helps you.

Thank you for your question, Detox Gold may help with mold toxicity and detoxification.

Detox Gold supports the systems and organs of elimination, including the liver, the GI tract, the lymph, lungs, the skin and the kidneys to help get rid of unwanted matter/toxins.
Pets are exposed to far more pollutants than humans are. Because they live closer to the ground than we do, they inhale a variety of chemicals and pollutants (pesticides, fertilizers, cleaning products, and mold).
Periodic detoxification, as a matter of course, may help to prevent the accumulation of toxic materials in a pet's body, and contributes to their overall health and wellness.
